>Evaluating whether or not an applicant actually has the requisite knowledge and skills for the position would require them to actually do their jobs, including understanding (at least at a meta-level) exactly what the position entails and what skills are actually relevant.
That's generally the job of the hiring manager, not the HR drone.
Getting a degree can also demonstrate that one might be able to do whatever busywork a job requires to be successful. The few non-degree people I've hired had problems seeing their projects through to completion.
I love kids like you that try to pull the age card while being completely uninformed of the topic at hand. Wozniak is still an Apple employee. It was only is *full time* employment that ended in 1987.
> BB reads the GAL, live, no need to add/sinc contacts, as everyone in the org is already there
So does iOS.
> SharePoint, etc, does not work on anything but BB
I can use SharePoint on my iPad.
> Remote wipe, easy as pie
Easy as pie on iOS too!
> Virtual Private encrypted and optimized network, yep, that's BB only
And the man-in-the-middle "attack" of having your communications go through RIM is BB only, too. Why would I want a dependency on some third-party for my e-mail?
I'd chip in as well.
Natalie Portman naked and petrified. Pouring hot grits down your pants.
Yeah, everyone knows the big money is doing hourly work! That's why executives are paid by the hour!

I think it's quite obvious he didn't.
There are what, maybe 30 people on earth that give a shit about Hurd at this point?
Your information is woefully out of date. Oracle is where you get Java for OS X, and it's been that way for a couple years.
The newer ones are apparently much easier to work on. I've never had the problems you describe.
No, matte because of the brushed aluminum.
If you used a Mac Pro that did this, it was defective. Mine (early 2009 eight core) hardly makes any noise at all under load.
And one where TomTom's navigation software doesn't exist.

In what way is Apple restricting my use of OS X?

Ignorant troll is ignorant.
But but but ROUNDED CORNERS. Apple sux0rs!!!!!!111111
This thinking is exactly why RIM is in trouble. "But we do business email best! We'll always have a market!"
You haven't taken any college-level chemistry. What you're describing is similar to what's taught in a first-year high school chemistry class.
Really? You think?
Which one do you think I was talking about?
Typical Slashdot autism spectrum disorder.
You obviously haven't used a recent version of Office for Mac.
Using your eyes, look at the surface keyboard. Notice how thin it is. How much travel could there possibly be?
What are you talking about? They'll work just fine. My iPhone 5 works perfectly in my 2011 Nissan.
That's exactly what I did, and the mention of that in the e-mail exchange caused him to go completely crazy.
Sure. Send that back to 2004 in your time machine and I'll be set.
