They haven't built them yet, they area waiting for Microsoft WaxFeathers 4.0 to come out, since they are using MSFT Flight Sim, and it's incompatible with regular wax.
Judging by the photos alone, this is the most impressive homebrew sim I'veseen yet. Props to the editor to actually posting links to old sim articles, by the way, so we don't get 200 links to mod on this one...
It was only 16 years ago that Poland threw off communism with the first free elections in the former Soviet bloc. This list likely contains the names of people that did great harm to others (and also many unrelated people). To simply write offf the list as something that should be forgotten, as some have suggested, would be foolish. We as americans must still atone for injustices done to others during the civil rights era, and many europeans are still dealing with the spectres of war from sixty years ago. To "forget" something that happened as recently as sixteen years is foolish and unreasonable.
(reminds me...) of a guy who felt the call of nature and went to relieve himself behind a hedge, as you do. Little did he know that there was an electric fence running through the hedge - he soon found out the hard way that water conducts!
Happened to a friend of mine when I was about 10 or so. Funny at the time, but he was pissed... in more ways than you know.
IANA Electrical Engineer, but I do know that it is not the voltage that is an issue, but the amps. I am from a farm, and I regularly come into contact with our electric fence, which runs at 10,000 volts.
From the article:
The battery powering the electric motor carries as much as 500 volts, more than 40 times the strength of a standard battery.

I talked to the guy in charge of the project a while back, and they have something here that is really getting interest from many roads departments. Check out my link above.

Step One: Buy music from iTunes store.
Step Two: Burn said music to CD.
Step Three: Import CD into library.
Outcome: Standard mp3 encoded non-drm files.
Easy to do, no messing with other programs, and undeniably legal.
So, it is now legal to download music, since they can't prosecute you? So can I download from a Canadian server? If a canadian downloads from me, is it ok? Or is this just another ruling that the music industry will find a way around?
Problem is, would this lead to a tyranny of the majority? If something like Wikipedia were around in Gallileo's time, would it ever say that the earth is round?
Contemporaries of Galileo would most certainly agree that the earth is round, as he lived from 1564 to 1642. Between 1519 and 1522, the crew of Magellan's ships circumnavigated the earth. It is the concept of a geocentric vs. heliocentric universe that would have been disputed at this time, until confirmed by Kepler and others.
I was quite annoyed with the black bars too but my view is that if Viacom has a gripe with it they should pay for commercial time instead of scrolling their complaints every 10 minutes.
Who would viacom pay for commercial time? Themselves? They have the right to alter THEIR OWN shows. They own them. Dish Network simply rebroadcasts them.
Are you the video professor? if so, DIE SLOWLY!
All hail the Information Superhighway!
good point

I noticed that they were identical after I posted them.

Clarke has talked about cyber security before. To the IEEE, in fact. Read it here.
nice Dylan Thomas reference in the summary there... "The regional bells will not go quietly into that good night."
I'm confused, according to their release schedule, this is due on the 9th. Is it really coming out 3 days early? How often does that happen?

I just wanted to take credit for that.
No, but the circa 1996 website does. I hate embedded music.
