Please folks, let's get back to reality. First, it is completely legal in the United States to build your own firearms ( https://www.quora.com/Is-is-tr... )-- anyone with access to basic machinery tools can do it -- think Zip Guns created by prisoners for the ease of creation. Second, plastic 3D gun are terrible.I would rather have a 1700s musket instead. The 3D printed guns have more in common with ancient firearms than modern firearms. It is cheaper and simpler to buy a fully built AR-15 than it is to "print" your own firearm from files downloaded off the internet. And if you really want to make your own M16 based pistol, Google will provide you detailed plans from their own servers: https://patents.google.com/pat.... You provide the tools and skill, Google will provide the detailed schematics. Will Facebook now block Google?
If you are going to whip out the credit card to spend a little money, take a little time to read all the text on the page. It was in large type that it was a donation to defeat the candidate. How many times in the past have we seen cute, cleaver and obscene assaults on congressional candidates on the Internet? Just google Santorum.
If you like your fake congressional candidate website, you can keep your fake congressional candidate website. Its political speech.
Why should the solution to a tragedy be to punish people that were not involved? I would appreciate that you not give up my constitutional rights for me. Our Government is already doing a good enough job eroding those. We don't need private citizens demanding the Government do more.
Its odd that Apple released this version quietly. Last time a major point release was available, Steve Jobs was walking down the streets of Cupertino firing a shotgun into the air screaming, "Time to download the next motherf*cking version of Safari!" followed by USC Trojan band playing John Philip Sousa marches.
What to know if your employees have their Blackberry turned on? Send an e-mail to it with the subject "" (without the quotes, of course). The Blackberry will send back a confirmation message with the time and date that it received the message. This is also a good way to test if your BES server is delivering messages in near time,
Did Joe the Plumber make over 250k last year? Will Obama be giving him a tax break, totally invalidating McCain's point about Obama raising JoeThePlumber's taxes?
That wasn't the point of Joe's question. Joe stated he wanted to buy a business and hoped that his hard work would bring in more than 250K. Obama stated that he wanted to take that success and spread it to people that made less than Joe hoped to make with his business acquisition and hard work.
It's one thing to say you want to "tax the rich" to fund the government, it's another when you want to do it to give other people the money, i.e., "Spread the Wealth".
The main problem with airport security is the people manning the checkpoints. Their goal is not to get you through in the quickest period of time. They are not professional, they do not care about the happiness of their customers and appear to get their kicks by making your life miserable with their "authority". If you complain about their behavior, is rectified or do you get a rectal exam for it? There should be bonus incentives for prompt and courteous service. Have random samples of folks that have been through security give feedback on their service. Run "tests" to ensure security. Make someone accountable for the service. Unfortunately, government agencies are never accountable for the service provided to citizens. Run it like a for profit business where the customer is the focus.
Even though I just sent in my third XBOX 360 for RROD repair after the great XBOX Live failure of 2007/2008, something about this interview just doesn't seem right. Why would a Microsoft "insider" risk their employment spilling well known issues about the XBOX 360 as "secrets" to a blog very read. That doesn't sound like a good career move.
Polls before an election are a guess who will win, not an actual predictor who will win. Imagine how many white folks said they would vote Obama so they didn't sound like a racist. Plus Hillary cried.
Dude, I feel for you! I read about several Geometry Wars players that experienced the same issue. I didn't have to worry about losing achievements. I couldn't play long enough to achieve any.
Last night was another terrible night of XBOX Live gaming. COD4 was unplayable online. At one point, while designated as host, my XBOX froze, unfroze, froze, unfroze and so on for 10 minutes. I couldn't even back out being host. The only way i would have been able to get control over my system was to turn it off. I didn't just to see how long XBOX Live was going to keep my XBOX 360 hostage to its poor performance while surfed for prices for SONY's PS3 gaming system. Now that nearly every major motion picture company has abandoned HD-DVD for BluRay and it appears Apple is going BluRay, the PS3 is looking to be a more desirable platform. I am really not satisfied with the response that Microsoft has put out and giving me a P.O.S. XBLA game I will never play for losing two weeks of paid service that still doesn't appear to be fixed isn't convincing me to stay with Microsoft -- not to mention the three times I have sent my XBOX 360 in because of the Red Ring of Death.
Maybe the RIAA should surf on over to the iTunes web site. Apple has a full page dedicated to making illegal copies of legally purchased music. Do I get a finder's fee?
I would think we would have heard of this problem long before now. There are million of these units and when they are not displaying the red ring of death, you think this problem would be shutting down WLANs worldwide generating numerous WTFs. Microsoft also sells its own USB wireless adapter for the XBOX 360. You think the wireless adapter would be nuked by the wireless controller if this was the case.
Peer-to-peer has received a bad rap, however, because of its frequent association with illegal music or software downloads.
Illegal music? Dude, if I could buy music that was illegal, I would do it in a heartbeat. Illegal music must rock hard! It would be like Conway Twitty singing Motorhead songs backed up by the corpses of Dimebag Darrell and John Bonham. Unfortunately, the labels just put out crap.
Civil liberties groups and many Democrats said it goes too far, possibly enabling the government to wiretap U.S. residents communicating with overseas parties without adequate oversight from courts or Congres.(sic)
Considering that Democrats are now the majority in Congress, this bill would not have passed without their strong support. Being able to wiretap foreign communications between terrorists without having to rush out and obtain a warrant before the communication is dropped is critical in combating Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda has shown time and time again that they have a strong grasp of modern technology and its uses despite wanting to revert the world back to some medieval form of Islam.
This extension is only good for six months allowing Congress and the American people to review its use. If you feel that this will be used against you, refrain from calling foreigners and talking about plots to kill your fellow citizens. I am quite sure that the NSA has higher priorities than garden variety international booty calls to snoop on.
The reason I don't want to support an iPhone is that there no method for me to brick the device like I can with a Blackberry. Or at least no method that Apple has promoted. So when an Executive is out having a little too much to drink and leaves their mobile device in the cab, it can be locked away from prying eyes.
Mistakes in QA do happen and everyone can do more testing but RIM's biggest failure during the outage was not their QA but their PR. How many BES Admins wasted an hour or two trying to figure out why their servers were not delivering properly to their user's handhelds? If there was a statement on their website or a message on their support line, a lot of wasted time would have been averted. If it were not for a few of the independent blackberry forums, I would not have known their was a nationwide outage during my troubleshooting.
In particular, it has been noted that between about 1645 and 1715, few sunspots were seen on the Sun's surface. This period is called the Maunder Minimum after the English astronomer who studied it. Ice cores record climate trends back beyond human measurements. It coincided with a spell of prolonged cold weather often referred to as the "Little Ice Age". Solar scientists strongly suspect there is a link between the two events - but the exact mechanism remains elusive.
Yep, this totally doesn't debunk global warming. The incandescent light bulb is much more powerful contributor to global warming than the nuclear fusion of the Sun. We are much more likely to enter another "Little Ice Age" if we swap all incandescent light bulbs for compact florescent light bulbs than if the Sun changes its sunspot activity. Man is mightier than the Sun!
Is it me or has the Global Warming crusaders joined up with the Intelligent Designers? I don't who believes in myths and fairy tales more...

How much does having your citizens not being able to afford medical care cost the economy?
Has anyone obtained affordable health care from Obamacare?
Why should the solution to a tragedy be to punish people that were not involved? I would appreciate that you not give up my constitutional rights for me. Our Government is already doing a good enough job eroding those. We don't need private citizens demanding the Government do more.
Try -literalPath instead of -path to overcome this.
