Great, now I can use the my penny ram sinks and paper cooling system on a new dual G4.

I tried to submit a story about this same subject a while back. Instead of some corporation creating it though, it's slashdots favorite hard disk speaker creating Ghetto modder Afroman with his version. Good instructions if you want to make this pad DIY. (I wonder if splashpower reads afrotech as well?)

This was accomplised by Afrotech with an optical mouse ... here. I want to see it implemented by apple, I also want to see OS X.3 "Pather" at macworld.

32k games is nothing...

In all seriousness though... I wouldn't be suprised if it was just some mini-pc that can play normal PC games on the market (including all of the old ones... X-COM baby). How else could they have that many games without it being a hack of the same game over and over.

Instead of a mouse and keyboard they could just mod it to us a controller as the primary input. Then they could just set up a service where you could demo or buy the games online. Then all they'd have to do is set up button mapping for each game.

Of course my theory is just as possible as this game actually having 32k+ real games...

I think that this just says it all. I also think boobies should be one of the topics, CmdrTaco's wife wouldn't like that though, and they wouldn't get to make icky geek sex ;P

Lest we forget about Afrotech's Hard-disk Sound System mentioned on /. a couple of months back. I've now got a couple of dead hard drives from work, so maybe this will be a good project to try.
