Re:I'm a consumer whore. And how!
I think if you tried to copyright that comment, your claim of ownership would be Rejected.

Re:You must be the only one
Agreed. On their website, it was burried in the small fine print. It definitely was not easy to find.
I'm a consumer whore! And how! -
THIS IS NOT NEWS.
This is product placement.

Re:Well...
Well prior to the whole Napster thing I was buying 10-15 cds a year. Since then, I've bought or been given 5 cds. I'll admit that my interest in the RIAA's music has waned somewhat, but the drop is basically out of spite. I own four DVD movies. Two were gifts, one I requested as a gift, and one is independent (plug) so it doesn't count. Also spite.

Re:What, didn't you hear?
I just read through one of the papers, and...I'll be honest - I'm not getting it. I haven't had time to digest anything, but I've been looking for an excuse to post this for a while, and it's sort of relevant here: our ability to affect the past due to wave/particle duality. It may fit in with parent's "continuum from past thru present onto the future." It's an interesting read, though I haven't actually followed up on its authenticity. Anyway, there's that - please comment if you read it; I'm interested to hear what others have to say.

does anybody else get it?
"My spoon is too big!"
"I live in a giant bucket!"

Re:I hereby volunteer to be a test subject...
Drowning in your own blood while screaming "For the love of God and all that it holy, MY ANUS IS BLEEDING!" just might win you an Oscar, you never know. Spoiler. Mal-2

INSERT into filtered_words SET word='Sweet Jesus'
I love that cartoon. It never ceases to amaze me how many people here know about it. Cartoon Network was going to air that? Wow.
In an effort to further public knowledge, here's a link. Order a DVD. You'll be glad you did. -
Re:The Hurd
I live in a giant bucket
but how is your anus?
NOTE TO MODERATORS:
This is not a troll, it is a reply to his sig which is a quote from the short (and twisted) movie "Rejected". I suggest you watch it. You will watch it so much you will believe that YOU too are a bananna and your spoon, however much you like it, is too big.Oh yeah, I love yer sig
:) -
Re:Premium or what?
The Extreme Violence isn't a problem on TV. As long as nobody utters the phrase "Sweet Jesus" then they should be able to air it...

Sunday's Adult Swim
Personally I only watch Adult Swim on Sundays for the oblongs, harvey birdman, and sealab 2021. I'm not a fan of anime so that left me watching something other than Adult Swim most of the nights. Kinda sad that mission hill was removed from sunday nights, but next sunday I am looking forward to the special showing of rejected. For those of you who have no idea what rejected click here

Re:OT: Re:5.2 is not so scary
Heh...yeah, I knew all of that - and you might want to check out the Bitter Films webpage, because you can, in fact, buy the 'Rejected' short on DVD. My friend has a copy, and also likes chimpanzees, and also occasionally reads
/., which is why I posted: I think the parent post of my original post (confused? I am! :) is actually my 'Rejected'-fan, chimp-loving friend, who also coincidentally works for HP. Sorry about the confusion!
And it's odd how certain natural disasters get coverage, while others go unmentioned. I had to say that, just to keep this somewhat on topic. :) Thanks for the info, though! -
Re:reasons for anime?-Variety.
And Samurai Jack, for example (the animation is more interesting than the plots, though).
And what about Spike and Mike's animation festivals? It's not all good stuff, but I've discovered some stuff there that I sure like (such as Don Hertzfeldt's work) -
I see a noticable lack of the one true comic(tm)
