    Also note that each time a thing is destroyed, society loses its value. Of course, if you can melt down the broken plastic cup as fresh feed stock, then the cost of remaking it is extremely low... but then we get into soviet methods ....

    There must be a way to just "slip" these into the discussion, but why bother? What's the good of an article ranting about webcomics without finding new, good web comics?

    I think Brian's strips are amazing, but I really wish that he'd update consistently! For example, if he'd prepare his strips a few weeks in advance and get some scripts to automatically update, then we couldn't have to read about how life got in the way again! Bob and George is run by a graduate student in physics (which I know from experience doesn't allow much free time), but he makes them so far in advance that he doesn't face those sort of problems often.

    Again though, I want to say that I do love Brian's strips a lot!

    8-Bit Theatre - A really funny online Comic that uses the sprites from Final Fantasy.
    Bob and George - Another online comic that uses Mega Man sprites Bob and George
    Thieves and Kings - One of THE best fantasy adventure comics out there.
    Finder - Another great adventure comic.
    THB - Paul Pope has one of the most original art styles IMO, good stuff.
    Optic Nerve - A comic about different peoples everyday lives.
    Poison Elves - About an elf with a really bad temper.
    Strangers in Paradise - Yeah it stars 2 women, but it has some of the best art and stories I've ever read in a comic.
    A Distant Soil - An adventure story about kids with psychic powers.
