It's amazing how otherwise intelligent people will wrap themselves in deep denial because a) admitting the truth would require giving up pleasure, and b) they subscribe to very poor sources of information - namely corporations that don't care one bit about their health. Same way it took so long for the truth about cigarettes to come out - big money backing a lie and people willfully in denial.

Holding a powerful microwave transmitter against your head is going to have effects. In Europe they use something called the precautionary principle, whereby things are banned and considered dangerous with less evidence, just in case. After all, why play games with your health, and especially your children's health (as they are less informed about the dangers of these 'toys')? Funny thing - not once has the precautionary principle turned out to be unwarranted.

Look up Dr. Nick Begich - a brilliant researcher with tons of data on his website on this and other relationships between technology and the human body. I've seen Dr. Begich speak and he is no fool.

Regardless, many people would rather risk their health - they do in so many other ways from eating nasty chemicals posing as food to lack of exercise. Why should this be any different? So easy to believe those studies paid for by the cell phone industry, and reported on by big $$$ media corporations (both of which happen to be owned by the same conglomerates).

And for the record, fluoride was indeed used to subdue POWs by the Nazis, who also considered putting it in public water supplies for the same purpose. It was used to inhibit thyroid function at doses lower than what is in toothpaste. Educate yourself for real before you speak trash. Fluoride is highly nasty stuff. Same for the mercury in vaccines which is indeed linked to autism.

Y'all aren't as brilliant as you imagine, just very clever at living in and justifying denial. Cleverness does not equal intelligence. Cleverness makes bombs; intelligence discards them.

The book "Angel's Don't Play This HAARP" is a total joke, but not to the authors. I took a look at Nick Begich's website. The information they have there about HAARP is full of scientific errors. Begich seems to take this HAARP conspiracy stuff seriously, but I kind of wonder about his intentions. In addition to informing people about the evils of HAARP, his web site is also selling a lot of audio CDs that claim to be able to cure anything that ails you physically or spiritually.

If you check out Nick Begich's background on his site, it says "Begich received his doctorate in traditional medicine from The Open International University for Complementary Medicines in November 1994." What the heck is "traditional medicine?" I googled for "The Open International University for Complementary Medicines". If I found the right place, it looks like a correspondence school based in India for alternative medicine. This does not sound like an accredited medical school to me - some of the other sites I found when googling tend to support this.

Begich sounds a bit like a modern day snake-oil salesman, in my humble opinion. He's not a medical doctor or a scientist. If you believe the stuff on his web site, I have a bridge in Brooklyn for sale on eBay. Hurry! Bidding ends in 10 minutes.

Angels Don't Play This HAARP

Is there any connection to this device and the HAARP project? Tesla had his 'teleforce' idea about a plasma forcefield about 50 years ago, and I found the connection between the teleforce, HAARP, and this recent article about a forcefield to be...eerie. (Sorry, I was just reading about HAARP yesterday.)

The thing that scares me is how a while ago in Taos new mexico lots of people were hearing a noise that wasn't detectable by an occiliscope.

For a while this was attributed to the ELF submarine communication station in the area, but I think they ruled that out. A decent but out of date article on this topic can be found here if you're interested.

Tesla was one of the most brilliant minds who ever lived. His discoveries are no longer taught widely because of their military applications.

The HAARP Program is jointly managed by the US Air Force and the US Navy, and is based in Gakona, Alaska. It is designed to "understand, simulate and control ionospheric processes that might alter the performance of communication and surveillance systems." The HAARP system intends to beam 3.6 Gigawatts of effective radiated power of high frequency radio energy into the ionosphere in order to:

*Generate extremely low frequency (ELF) waves for communicating with submerged submarines
*Conduct geophysical probes to identify and characterize natural ionospheric processes so that techniques can be developed to mitigate or control them
*Generate ionospheric lenses to focus large amounts of high frequency energy, thus providing a means of triggering ionospheric processes that potentially could be exploited for Department of Defense purposes,
*Electron acceleration for infrared (IR) and other optical emissions which could be used to control radio wave propagation properties
Generate geomagnetic field aligned ionization to control the reflection/scattering properties of radio waves,
*Use oblique heating to produce effects on radio wave propagation, thus broadening the potential military applications of ionospheric enhancement technology.
