The battle cry of fucktards too pu55y to play the OMG OFFENSIVE!!1! card when confronted with off-colour humour. It is basically an attempt to play thought police without seeming uncool, a wishy-washy middle ground that seems to say "hey, I'm as up for black comedy as anyone, but this is inappropriate at this time." In other words, the speaker is alleging that whatever it is that offended him will somehow magically become funny and not offensive with age, perhaps with further fermentation.

The purpose of choosing "too soon" over "offensive" is, of course, to avoid being chastised for prudery or censorship. In this capacity it is surprisingly effective: instead of seeming like a reactionary moron, the person crying "TOO SOON!" seems like a spineless moron.

Nevertheless, the net intended effect of a claim that a joke is TOO SOON is the same as that of a claim that it's offensive: a desire to make the offending party STFU and conform with the speaker's chosen beliefs and opinions.

TOO SOON is often adopted for dramatic or ironic effect by dramacrats and trolls. Shortly following the azn tsunami disasters, many people adopted the use of the pun spelling "Too Tsun!" to mock those incapable of finding the humour in the briny deaths of millions.

As a Fad

Since its introduction into the knowledge of the general public, Asperger's has become somewhat of a fad for those seeking to garner attention. In the fine tradition of disease whores everywhere, many young people who have ever felt the least bit shy or eccentric decide to self-diagnose themselves, forsaking the opinion of a qualified MD and therefore belittling genuine sufferers for just the sake of appearing special.

As Covering Up for Being a Total Fucktard

Some close-knit communities of people with distorted views of reality, such as furries, plushies and otherkin will frequently claim to have Asperger's or be Autistic en masse, often finding some way to tie its manifestations into the fact that they are social misfits, can't properly express affection, or to claim that it's an intrinsic part of being fucked up in the particular way that they are. In these instances, having "Asperger's" seems to be closely tied to posting disgusting and semi-nude pictures of yourself frequently to the internet, or writing extremely off-kilter fanfiction (see here (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/49104/)). This disease (and the associated Autism) are frequent mix-ins for those who like to claim to have many diseases and disorders. They can usually pull it off in quite a long-term manner, much as children are often over-diagnosed with ADD/ADHD simply because if you distort reality enough, you can claim the particular social dysfunction or misbehavior is part of the syndrome in question.

Diagnosis

If you feel that you're shy, unusual, highly intelligent, able to sense the emotional states of others, good at judging body language and inordinantly pre-occupied with things that most people are not, congratulations! You are just like everybody else.

Trolltalk is currently under a crapflood attack by an angry script kiddie who is upset that cracky-chan's encyclopedia dramatica entry was vandalized by people on trolltalk. He is demanding that the changes be reverted. We cannot give in to crapflooders but the crapflood has made the sid impossible to use. We need your help. I never thought that IP bans were good for anybody until this happened. Please go into trolltalk and use your modpoints to mod down the crapflooder until his ip is banned.

It's obvious that you must be running a different kernel than I do. Everyone who's anyone in the free/open source software community knows that the patches that allow Linux to address more than 1 GB of RAM were from code stolen from SCO by IBM. These patches therefore taint your kernel. For this reason, smelly RMS will smite you with his faggot-assed GPL shield.

I agree with the grandparent - the posted of the story should look into Windows 2003 Server. I have several of these machines running at work and I didn't have to enable a stupid RMS-felching memory model.

Read her replies to comments in her own LJ, as well as the journals she provides links to. It's pretty obviously a hoax intended to stir up panic and knee-jerk reactions among the more gullible LJ users.
