Re:It won't help
Except for focus and depth of field -- if 3D movies were to *really* be indistinguishable for the 3D world our eyes are used to, we'd be able to focus on elements in the background or foreground. The headaches in 3D movies are because the director is dragging our lenses' focus around against our will, something we're not accustomed to.
I wish I had mod points for you. This is exactly my problem with "3D" movies.
Also I wonder if anyone has done a study to see if there is any correlation between people that get headaches watching "3D" movies and people who can see those "Magic Eye" http://www.magiceye.com/ images. I can see them and "3D" movies give me headaches. My wife can't see them and is fine at "3D" movies. I'd be curious to see if the numbers skewed one way or another.

you'll still get headachesIt doesnt matter how fast the refresh rate...
Your eyes say I'm focusing @ 2 feet
your eye muscles say I'm looking 20 foot away (its the relative angle of your eyes that gives the illusion of depth)
given these two contradictory inputs your brain gets confused and you'll end up with a very "used" feeling in your head a best - more likely a headache
try looking here http://www.magiceye.com/ for an hour or so...

Re:I'd enjoy the Wii more if it played Rocket Jock
It's a reference to the movie "Mallrats" ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0113749/ ).
In the movie a character named Willam tries throughout the movie to see one of those "3D Pictures" (where you make it out of focus and see a 3d scene http://www.magiceye.com/ ). The picture he is trying to see is of a Sailboat (or as a kid points out in the movie, a "Schooner").
So, basically, the poster is saying that the original post looks like a huge jumbly mess.

stereograms
Stereograms, like these are a lot easier to see, even if you wear glasses or lenses.

Re:Is there a solution?
Sanborn is probably having a laugh at the pros trying to decrypt what is really only jibberish. It is just like the joke Magic Eye poster that doesn't have a hidden image.

Re:Well...
im sure the slight camera angles make all the difference in the world
;)
Reminds me of an experiment I tried a couple years back. Hook up 2 webcams to your PC, place the cams about eye-distance apart, and then position the windows on your screen so they're side by side, and play with the horizontal gap between them. How cross your eyes, ala Magic Eye, and you get to see your head in 3d.
I wonder if it would be possible to find 2 tv networks whose cameras are just the right distance apart, put 2 tvs side by side and see the president in 3d :) -
