Re:PS3 greater than 360?I'll agree that's not nearly as doom and gloom as everyone has been making it out to be but honestly, I don't know how you can categorize the 360 game line up as "running dry" in the same breath you claim the PS3 is somehow doing better in that department. Lets take a look at what's being released between now and the end of November in terms of titles exclusive between the 3 next gen contenders: Xbox 360:
- Phantasy Star Universe
- Spliter Cell Double Agent
- Fuzion Frenzy 2
- Gears of War
- Viva Piniata
- FIFA 07
- Pro Evo Soccer 6
- Star Trek Legacy
- WWE SvR
- Rayman 4
- Dead or Alive Xtreme 2
- Cabela's African Safari
- Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom
- Full Auto 2: Battlelines*
- Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire
- Ridge Racer 7*
- Resistance: Fall of Man
- Genji: Days of the Blade
Wii:- Barnyard
- Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2
- Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors
- Elebits
- Excite Truck
- GT Pro Series
- Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers
- The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
- Metal Slug Anthology
- Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
- Monster 4x4 World Circuit
- Rayman Raving Rabbids
- Red Steel
- SpongeBob SquarePants: Creature from the Krusty Krab
- Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz
- Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam
- Trauma Center: Second Opinion
- Wii Sports
I guess I just don't see why the PS3 is suddenly "looking better all the time" while the 360 is "drying up" If anything the PS3's launch line up is just playing catch up to the 360. -
Come on ./, get your story straight...
A) They didn't announce the price point, they announced a MAX price point, which is very different. That title is misleading.
B) You should note the fact that consoles almost never sell for the same price in different countries, no matter the exchange rates.
C) It would have been worth mentioning Iwata's recent hint: "you may want to check our past records of price points, launching price points for any past hardware." Nintendo's never NOT released a system in the US for anything other than $199.99. Take that + this guy saying it's going to be LESS than ~$225, and I don't see how you can't come to the conclusion that it's going to be $199.99.
My report on this story is here:
Wii: Almost surely $200, but still not confirmed -
This game's true gold......lies in it's multiplayer...
No joke! I never would have guessed until I played that little Mario vs. Luigi game for myself. It is hands down one of the most fun multiplayer experiences I've had since Super Smash Bros. I wish it had a few more levels and options, and it'd be great if it were 4 players, but even as it stands it's the most surprisingly wonderful part of the game.
I'm working on an official review for Nwizard.com/Touchds.com now, but if I had to ballpark a rating for it now, I'd say...hmmm...well...to be safe I'll just say >= 9.5 out of 10. Definitly one of the best video games on the market today, and probably the best DS game out, which in my opinion is saying something...

*cough* Halo-killer *cough*You know, it seems odd how a group of random fanboys can recreate one of the greatest gaming experiences ever with just some spare time and donations...
...and yet, developers with their multi-million dollar budgets and years of development can't give gamers what they want.It just goes to show that corporate-folk are FRIGGIN-IDIOTS. (seriously, all we asked was for GE64 to be re-released with better graphics and maybe some extras. That's all. We didn't ask for this "Rogue Agent" crap. Do you hear us at all? EA? Nintendo? Rare? ANYONE? JUST TAKE 5 MINUTES TO REHASH AN OLD GAME AND WE WILL GIVE YOU MONEY! idiots...)
If this project gets shut down, I vote for revolt...

Nintendo Router NOT Required
Just to clear up some confusion, you don't HAVE to use the Nintendo router, it's just an option for those who don't have a Wi-Fi network already set up. I've edited the story over at nwizard.com.

Pretty Sucky Portable
The DS did so much better... To be honest, I too expected PSPs to sell like hotcakes, but of course, to my delight, they haven't sold well at all. O, well. Let's all go buy a DS... Nwizard.com
