Wait, there's more!
An oil man is in charge of the Dept of the Interior.
Coincidentally, the story broke today that the oil lobbyist who heads the Department of the Interior is now under investigation less than a week after starting the job. His name is David Bernhardt, and it turns out that the dude is up to his eyeballs in grift.

Re:Romainian == Gypsy
Nobody is forcing anyone in Eastern Europe to be criminal, that's a ridiculous claim. So many Gypsies in Eastern Europe live in poverty because those countries are, by European Union standards, quite poor themselves. A lot of people there live in poverty - some of them are Gypsies.
Poverty IS the major cause of crime.
There's no better proof of that than observing exact same practices as done by the poor and by the rich.
In the case of the poor it's a crime.
In the case of the rich, at worst it's a "legal issue". At best it's "aggressive and shrewd business practice".And that's disregarding the epigenetic burden of generations of poverty (all them fun diseases that weren't really a burden on poor people before all food became cheap processed carbs and fats), inherited psychological trauma and downright segregational injury one might "luck into" by choosing to be born poor.
Particularly when choosing to be born into a poor country where such health issues will tend to be ignored, untreated or too expensive to treat - for much longer than in the rich countries.Which is where you should look for that "forcing".
Much like with those stereotypes of belligerent Irish drunkards and criminals - the real cause for prejudice may actually be older prejudice from centuries ago. -
Re: Democratic control
Raenex, stop posting. Your redundant links only emphasize your practice of deceit.
The Texas Democratic Party sent a mass mailing. Big whup. That just means they wasted their money.
Meanwhile Kris Konach failed thousands of times with his voter purges that swept up actual legit voters. That means he violated the law and wasted the state's money. So badly he was ordered to fix his own incompetence.

Re:This site could use a cleanup as well
Is this one of those situations where you plainly explain why someone is correct and then realize what you did so you tack on some crazy at the end? Elections are run by the Secretaries of State. All those republican governors with their republican legislatures gerrymandered the fuck out of their states after they took power in 2010. And the republican secretaries of state have been doing everything they can make sure liberal leaning districts have a harder time voting by doing things like closing down voting locations and then lying about the new address, or like in North Dakota where they screwed over all the people living on reservations.

"Another 34 were identified by the Sedgwick County Election Office when staff attended naturalization ceremonies to register new citizens and discovered some were already registered."
If you read your link, you will notice that Kris Kobach, who is anything but a neutral observer, offers ZERO EVIDENCE that these things happened, but assures us that they did. Let's see...can we think of any other instances where Kobach lied or whether he had an incentive to do so?

Here's even more recent news about Kris Kobach lying in order to enrich himself at the expense of a bunch of small towns by selling them on a non-existent "immigrant crisis".

I see the bad moon arising
I see trouble on the way
I see earthquakes and lightnin'
I see bad times today
Don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise
I hear hurricanes a blowing
I know the end is coming soon
I fear rivers overflowing
I hear the voice of rage and ruin
Don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise
Hope you got your things together
Hope you are quite prepared to die
Looks like we're in for nasty weather
One eye is taken for an eye
Well don't go around tonight
Well it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise
Don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise -

wrong
If your thinking of a book your wrong.
In FreeBSD's CoC context a "dead name" is the name a person had before they transitioned to another gender. Deadnaming seems to trigger the shit out of them. -
Re:At least he's not literally Hitler any more
Not only that but he recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel!
ONLY HITLER WOULD DO THAT! TRUMP IS LITERALLY HITLER!I don't have to be specifically worried for the Jews to be worried about Trump. Enough of his policies and attitudes are Naziesque to be chilling. That makes sense, because his daddy was a racist and maybe a Klansman. Ironically, his grandfather was deported for illegal immigration. Trump is a shining example of exactly the kind of person he wants to keep out of America: he's a rapist, no less. Wasn't rape one of the things he was worried about illegal immigration bringing to our country? I guess he'd know.

Re:Nothing changed but the language
With no statute of limitation either.
This is one thing that is horribly wrong about sexual harassment.
Putting a limit on this would help to remove the stigma and political blowback that often comes with reporting it.
Nope. It would do absolutely nothing to remove the stigma and blowback that comes with reporting it. There's still people who insist that the only legitimate rape is something that somehow prevents pregnancy.
Sorry, but there's a lot of things that are HORRIBLY WRONG about sexual harassment. It's a long list.
It would also get rid of people coming forward with ancient sexual harassment claims that are often viewed as relevant as dragging 90-year old men into courtrooms for World War II war crimes.
And we'll do it again until the last Nazi is dead, and even then, they'll still be anathema.
And we'll also declare the falsely accused to be innocent.
Don't like it? Tough.

Re:China has become more attractive
Which Chinese? Which Indians? Which Hungarians? Which Swedes? You are aware that all these countries have many ethnic groups, and that the geographical distributions of the groups do not just magically follow national boundaries, right?
And I noticed this trend in the USA also: when I was there in 2000 being illegals would have made you blacklisted for 10 years, but no more under Obama rule.
False. Obama actually deported more illegals than any of his predecessors.

Re:Sure....
Many of these people will be on a grant. So, yes, it has nothing to do with education cost.
I was curious how much truth there was to this. Here's what some quick Googling turned up:
Financial Aid: FAQs
In 2014-15, about two-thirds of full-time students paid for college with the help of financial aid in the form of grants and scholarships. Approximately 57 percent of financial aid dollars awarded to undergraduates was in the form of grants, and 34 percent took the form of federal loans.International Students at U.S. Colleges
Some, but not all, U.S. schools offer international students financial aid. In 2016-2017, of the 1,293 schools that provided data on this topic to U.S. News, 425 said they awarded aid to international students - that's around 1 out of every 3. Each of these 425 schools gave financial aid to, on average, about 40 percent of the international students they enrolled. So the overall rate at which students receive grants is (2/3)*57% = 38% (or 44% if you assume the missing 9% is scholarships)
The rate at which international students receive fanancial assistance is (425/1293)*40% = 13%
This article sums it up. OP is correct that the cost of U.S. colleges is a huge factor for foreign students. How international students are subsidizing U.S. universities
A growing number of international students are finding that their dreams of studying in the U.S. comes with a nearly impossible price tag. Many schools have limited funds for student aid, and the lion's share of that money is reserved for U.S. students. And most foreign citizens are not eligible for federal student aid from the U.S. Department of Education.
That means that being a foreign student in the U.S. usually means paying full tuition -
