I went to the website and I couldn't view it -- I clicked on the tree.

It said something about "Macromedia Shockwave Flash".

Running Macromedia's software is against me security policy, so I can't view it. I'd appreciate any reports on what you actually see.

Also, whenever I have a letdown feeling like this (it happens whenever Slashdot posts a stupid slashvertisement from a company I despise, and then links to a useless shockwave flash site), I like to remind myself that at least I'm not Mr. Hands.

This one is so awful. From the looks of it, Linus Torvalds was forced to play the trademark game, because of a slimeball lawyer.

But it appears that because he didn't defend it from early on, he's now unable to claim it in Australia. So he should have been demanding money from all the Linux-name-using folks all these years if he wanted to become the trademark.

How ironic: to frustrate a lawyer slimeball at the behest of his users, Mr. Torvalds makes himself look silly in front of the court.

To get an idea of how scummy the first lawyer was:

Torvalds didn't plan on gaining trademark protection for the word "Linux" when he began work on his OS, but by 1996 he started wishing he had. That's when William R. Della Croce Jr. of Boston first started demanding 10 percent royalties on sales from Linux vendors, based on a trademark claim he had filed in 1994. The Linux kernel was still free software, but according to Della Croce, the name itself was his property.

That's 10 percent! What a parasite! It makes me think he deserves the Mr. Hands treatment.

I'd prefer something from one of the Mr. Hands Express earlier albums.

Disturbing pictures hit the Internet late tonight showing Slashdot mod CmdrTaco having anal intercourse with a horse. Sources close to Slashdot do not dispute the claim. Ex-wife, SlutBitch4U, says that CmdrTaco has had a fetish for large, dark-colored horse cock since he was caught getting ass raped by a petting zoo pony when he was three years old, then getting brutally raped at the GNAA convention in 1992 thinking it was ass-less chaps night for D&D, which would of only had 2" or max 5" penis instead of 12" baby arms that GNAA members carry.

US forces would also like to investigate CmdrTaco's role in distributing loose anus horses to Taliban and al-Qaeda fighters. These horses are widely rumored to have special running powers, possibly the horses are afraid of the anal tortured endured from CmdrTaco and other Slashdot mods at his rape camps. It is also rumored locally in the villages in the area of "HorseRapeCon's", where computer geeks from Slashdot who didn't get laid at DefCon flock to these regions to have wild horse sex orgies, then join the Taliban afterwards. CmdrTaco has been quoted as saying "Horse sex is not a crime.. when you're all done, atleast you have a ride home", in this week's issue of Beastiality Weekly, which is based in Greenbo, Alabama and is distributed by Slashdot.

GNAA believes that CmdrTaco should step down and should surrender to federal and international charges of horse anus endangerment, which carries a maximum fine of anal torture by the hands of his GNAA rapists who sodomized him a decade ago.
