Re:Incitement in Hebrew
So it's ok to try to kill someone if you miss?
The Israeli excuse when they kill innocent children is that they did it "accidentally."
They say, that's the difference between the Palestinians and us. They kill children deliberately, and they feel good about it afterwards. We kill children accidentally, and we feel bad about it afterwards.
But I've never heard an Israeli government spokesman apologize for killing innocent Palestinian children. For example, Izzeldin Abuelaish's daughters https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

^This!
Check out what Miko Peled has to say about Israel's treatment of the Palestinians
As the grandson of a signatory to the Israeli Declaration of Independence, the son of an Israeli general, a former soldier himself, and the uncle of a 13-year-old niece who was killed in a suicide attack in Jerusalem, Miko Peled has both credibility and some serious skin in the game. When he debunks revisionist history, criticizes Israel's treatment of the Palestinians, and devotes his life to the cause of peace and the end of Israeli apartheid, he makes a most compelling case. Anyone who is not blindly devoted to knee-jerk Palestine-bashing will find his work interesting and informative; anyone who IS so devoted REALLY should hear what he has to say.

Re:iPhone 7 = the new pet rock
The processor benchmarks are pointless, what matters is how fast stuff actually happens and Android is generally faster at opening the same app etc. Probably because Samsung flash memory is quicker or something, or maybe it's just the massive amount of RAM in high end models. Having a dual core CPU probably doesn't help either.
Wow, what a bold lie. Android is NOT generally faster at opening the same app. As you can clearly see, the iPhone 6s, which is a year old, laps the brand new Note 7 when opening the same apps.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
As for Samsung "flash memory" being quicker? I'd love to know which Samsung shills are modding you up... Here's a quote from the Anandtech iPhone 6s and 6s Plus Review:
The other truly impressive aspect of the iPhone 6s’ this generation is the storage solution. The iPhone’s storage solution here is ahead of everything else in the industry for three clear reasons. The first is the use of more advanced NAND organization. Although TLC NAND alone is going to be clearly worse for performance than SLC or MLC NAND, the iPhone 6s’ use SLC caching in conjunction with TLC NAND to improve storage performance in the situations that matter. The second is the use of PCI-Express to enable much higher bandwidths, which means that the SLC cache can really stretch its legs to reach the high levels of bandwidth that it’s capable of. The third is the use of a custom storage controller with NVM Express, which helps to realize the full benefits of PCI-Express. Overall, all of these things come together to make noticeable differences in user experience.
http://www.anandtech.com/show/...
Apple's silicon dominance is reflected by a superior real world user experience, and that matters since what actually happens when you use a Note 7, is an "embarrassing level of real world performance".
The same lag carries onto scrolling performance in many applications, and infrequently in every application after heavy continuous usage. The phone does not get too hot, mind you, but we do notice that after continuous sessions, it progressively begins misbehaving. Scrolling behavior in particular is behind what you’d expect out of an $850 device, especially after this has been one of Samsung’s weak points for years. When compared to the OnePlus 3, we find that the Note 7 often neglects using its four cores as opposed to the OnePlus 3, which efficiently mixes up its core utilization when handling the same task. GPU profiling on the Note 7 makes it extremely clear that the phone leaks frames on several actions, even minor animations throughout the UI such as a WiFi network spinning circle animation. In some instances, we found outright damning displays of the Note 7’s occasionally-pitiful fluidity accompanied by the walls of green bars denoting serious difficulties pushing the frames through. But this is not just a matter of opening or returning to your application sooner than on other devices, Samsung’s software is noticeably slower than that of competing devices in almost every action. The stock keyboard still sees issues with split-second lockups, and the sharing menu on the Note 7 often leaves you waiting for options to load. The notorious TouchWiz Launcher has earned itself a reputation for slow speed and stutters throughout the years, and while it is not as bad as it used to be, it can still miss clear frames while switching through homescreens, and despite years of integration, Flipboard still remains the most jerky leftmost homescreen panel ever introduced by an OEM.

What excuses tomorrow may bring
I've noticed that Hillary has a pattern of using the "most minimal" excuse that will get her by.
She was in great health until she had a 4 minute 22 second coughing fit, then it's "I have been talking non-stop for weeks, but I'm OK now."
She was fine until she had to leave the 9/11 memorial, then it's "I was feeling a little overheated, but I'm all right now".
That worked until the video of her collapsing as she's put into a van, then it's "I have pneumonia, but it's all right".
This tracks with other investigation into her actions, including the E-mail scandal:
- . She didn’t send or receive any e-mails that were classified “at the time.”
- . She didn’t send or receive any e-mails “marked classified” at the time.
- . She turned over all of her work-related e-mails.
- . Her use of a private server and e-mail domain was permitted by law and regulation.
- . All of her e-mails were immediately captured by @.gov addresses.
- . There were numerous safeguards against security breaches and “no evidence” of hacking.
- . She was never served a subpoena on her e-mail use.
...all of which she has said, occasionally under oath.If the past is any prediction of the future, we'll have to wait a couple of months to find out if she was really sick or not.

Re:Dolphin deciphering
There are examples of complex behavior in cetaceans that would be difficult to explain without assuming they can communicate. Here is a video of orcas (which are technically dolphins) using a complex coordinated activity to isolate and capture a crabeater seal. But that isn't even the most interesting part: First the adults perform the actions, while the junenile orcas watch, then they let the seal recover and climb back onto the ice. Then the juveniles give it a go. They screw it up. Then the adults go again, showing them how to do it right. The the juveniles try again. How could they do that without being about to "talk"?

Re:Why is this easier in space than on Earth?
-
Re: Yes
GP is just overly sheltered to be honest, and kind of lacks perspective.
The perils described don't really sound that different from mining in ages past. Consider, for example, how dangerous nitroglycerine is to handle; so dangerous that most people refused to handle it. And yet it was basically all that was available for use in mining operations for a very long time, and mining remained profitable and continued anyways because people would handle it if the pay was right. And among other things, the job was often out in remote areas, so indeed the workers were quite isolated, cave-ins were a very real risk, and work shifts were so deep underground that it might be days before you see daylight, and there was so much soot and dirt in the air that your lungs would age very quickly.
But again, people would do this anyways because it paid a lot more than any other work they could have done.
With all of this talk about automation taking over jobs, and if that does result in economic hardship, you'll have an easier time getting people to do dangerous off-planet work than you might realize.

Re:iPhone 7 = the new pet rock
Not true... https://www.youtube.com/watch?...
As you can see, even the previous generation (6S) iPhone runs rings around current Android devices at launching applications. More so, even with half the amount of RAM it had managed to keep more of them in memory than the Android device. iOS is both more efficient, and running on faster hardware.

Re:"Bang sound"
But you must agree that a high velocity round from a sniper rifle would probably have the same effect as we saw on the video. Also, shooting at the upper stage makes it more likely to go bang as the fuel and lox are physically closer together and a shooter would have a better line of sight to the top of the rocket.
One of these bad boys, a PTRD-41 can shoot up to 1km, but of course a real sniper rifle can shoot up to 2km ranges and still be lethal. No idea how that translates into piercing the thin lightweight metal shell of a rocket fuel tank. Also, the rocket upper stage is a huge target; and missing wouldn't matter, just keep firing until you hit it.
I don't live in the US, are high powered rifles such as these readily available?
Quite scary really...

Re:Airbag software bugs ..
Airbags had to move to software control because sometimes you don't want the airbags going off even though there's an accident. e.g. A child in the front passenger seat - early airbags were designed to cushion and adult head, and were forcing the lower mass of a child's head backwards killing them. Some cars in the 1990s had a manual switch for you to turn the front passenger airbag on/off depending on whether or not a child was sitting there, but of course people forgot to flip the switch. Nowadays pretty much all cars use a weight sensor under the seat to gauge the weight of the occupant, and decide whether or not to deploy the front passenger airbag.
Same goes for side-curtain airbags. They can impede people's ability to get out of the car, so you don't want them deploying if they don't need to(e.g. the side occupants are moving away from will not trigger). And you want them to deploy at the proper time. To early and they start to deflate before the occupant's head hits them. Too late and again they force the occupant's head sideways instead of cushioning it, possibly injuring them more than the accident itself.
Seatbelts have gotten more sophisticated as well. In addition to inertia/angle sensitive latches, many cars now use pre-tensioners. The timing of these have to be coordinated with the dynamic accelerations experienced during an accident, lest they fire too early and you end up released before the main accelerations hit you. The newer ones use an explosive charge, so there are no do-overs if they trigger at the wrong time, and you definitely don't want them to trigger if there isn't an accident and the car is (say) just being towed.
Too many people try to categorize things as "always better" or "always worse" based on a few data points. These safety systems have moved to electronic software control because it makes them more effective in the vast majority of cases, even though in a few cases it may cause them to function worse than older mechanical systems. -

Re:Analysis of the videos
I respect your sincerity and share your suspicions, but please be informed that the 47 second video of T7 is severely faked. As proof, see here. I fell for it at first until I looked a little further. Of course this hardly detracts from the mainstream legitimate footage which is in itself more than ample reason to be suspicious. I don't know why the prick bothered to add to the already festering mire of 9/11 disinfo, but he's certainly not alone. It's these sort of pricks and the "dr" Judy Woods that do much to stigmatize the subject.
Perhaps the following is more pervasive than anyone could expect: https://www.schneier.com/blog/archives/2016/09/internet_disinf.html

Re:Analysis of the videos
Another wannabe construction expert... even when no longer in "static equilibrium" a building is still composed of steel and concrete girders, trusses, beams, joists, columns, etc. all tied together with connections designed to be stronger than the materials being joined. Definitely not "smoke". Once the top of the first tower to fall tilted over the side of the tower there is no explanation for it's disintegration while falling other than explosives/demolitions. Building 7's collapse defies physics outside demolitions being placed inside.
Explain this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?... and this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?... and my favorite question is this... Why the hell would Atta carry with him to the airport luggage containing all the items needed to confirm the official story when he should have only reasonably expected it all to be destroyed in the coming collision? How convenient that his bag didn't make the transfer at Boston and was there to confirm the official story.... Get real people... every day innocent people are being killed as a result of this lie. What part are YOU playing in this criminal tragedy?
