Batman Begins Trailer Online
meltoast writes "The trailer for the Batman Begins is available on the Warner Brothers website. Also check out the pictures of the new Batmobile on the same site. All I can say is holy big tires, Batman!" The Batmobile design is reminiscent of the one from Dark Knight Returns, but I think I prefer it over the one Adam West used to cruise around in.
So does batman drive in the city or crunch over cars like a monster truck???
We need this, just to erase the memory.

I would think, with the Batman franchise continuing on into an eco-crazy millenium, Batman wouldn't convert the Batmobile into an dually-wheeled SUV! How about at least a Bat-hybrid?!
But then again, what do I know -- he's got a fire-breathing mega-engine on the back of that... and that's DEFINITELY not environmentally friendly.
I allways figured Gotham was located in one of the orginal 13 states of the USA. But I can't think of anything that proves it isn't located in a post nuclear apocalyptic Australian.

My initial reaction to seeing the new batmobile was "It kinda looks like a Hummer taking a crap."

Funny thing is, because of their seemingly overly-prolific careers, my buddy and I have taken to calling Michael Caine "The White Morgan Freeman", and alternately calling Morgan Freeman "The Black Michael Caine". It's going to be strange to see them in the same film together.

I have heard they will, once again, mistakenly have 2 villians.
Most batman villians could have enough story and depth to have a movie on there own.
Hell, I think it would be cool if the begining of each movies dealt with the origins of the villian.
Two face, how could even the most talentless hack with a mac not right a good movie with him as the sole villian?
Riddler, not the tv nitwit that Jim Carry seemed to model hisa character, but the solitary really smart and quitly insane riddler could have been great. Done right, the audience could have been lkead to believe it was a different villian, just to find out it was the riddler.
And lets not forget Calender man! errr..OK forget that 'villian'

It had a plot. It was the struggle of a timid woman facing the harsh reality of the cooperate world, a reality that men are openly bastards and women are more subtle but are better at it. It's the age all tale of girl meets boy, girl goes to meet boss, girl discovers bosses wife's evil plot, boss's wife shoves girl down the drain, girl becomes cat, girl gets fired, cat gets framed, girl gets boy, boy becomes cop, girl meets bosses wife, bosses wife plays innocent, bosses wife kills husband and frames cat, boy discovers cat is girl, girl escapes from jail, girl vindicates her self, girl kills bosses wife, girl gets boy again, but girl discovers her own independence, and boy loses girl. It's a classic classic tale.

I can't tell in the photo because of the angle, but I think this Batmobile looks like it may have a gun rack in the back window, a half-empty pouch of chewing tobacco on the dash, and a bumper sticker that reads something along the lines of "American by birth, Southern by the grace of God". In addition, I'm pretty sure those tires were purchased at Fred's Truk Emporium. You know... the place out by where the old pond used to be before they moved the Super WAL*MART.

You have to keep in mind, Batman built the big-tire version when he was still young, and had a mullet.
I guess Bruce Wayne can also use the Batmobile to relax by plowing the south 40 after a long night of fighting crime.

The first thing I thought of when I saw that picture was "Batman, bane of all rough lawns and shoddily maintained public parks in Gotham city." The thing looks like an oversized, rocket powered sit-in lawnmower!

I'll never forget seeing Val Kilmer as Batman and when he said "I'm Batman" I stood up from my seat and said "No your Ice and you killed Goose!!!"
He will live forever in my memory as Ice from Top Gun he should just deal with it!
George Is just not dark enough to play Batman. He has a calm personality.
The best reason I can think of for this is the role Christian Bale played in American Psyco. Batman is disturbed and that needs to stay that way!
