My boys want used toys...so they can take them and make other stuff.
My first grader makes toys out of cardboard and tape (miles of tape, I have to hide tape).
My fifth grader has moved from taking old electronics apart for the hell of it to making breadboard circuits.
They both get together and make toy electric cars out of cardboard, motors and wheels. They have cleaned out my stock of switches and battery holders and are now hitting allelectronics.com and rat shack.

After flipping through the site, and looking at the construction images, I noticed that he has integrated the controller into the unit. Interesting, but makes one thought come to mind:
Its almost as big as the original xbox controller.
...except it seems he removed the analog buttons from the design, which will make it impossible to play MGS2, MGS3, or Ridge Racer 5 properly, and probably a few more games I can't think of off the top of my head.
He probably didn't realize how potentially bad a move it was considering he only has two GTA titles.
the directional pad is still there, the two analog sticks are there.
