I think that Azerothian voter turnout will be extremely low.
My predicted exit poll results:
- 55% Ignored the voting booths & farmed HKs instead
- 25% Didn't make it to the voting booths because they were AFK in the starting area
- 15% Made it to the voting booth, but instead of going in & voting, they jumped onto its roof and spammed/dance over & over
- 5% Were too busy repeatedly spamming/bg with "every sucks by me" and "just let them win" to even realize there was an election going on

I'm with you brother! But I think there may have been some Republicans involved.
First it's $700 billion for mortgage giants and banks. Then its free low credit from the federal reserve.. Now look at what those sneaky Democrats plan to give to the poor and unproductive.
".. the administration is working to speed the distribution to automakers of $25 billion in factory retooling funds authorized by Congress last month, the official told Reuters."

I would tend to agree with all of it.
My comments were just a satire on the previous posters comment about "all" registered Democrats favoring of welfare. I was just pointing out that the Republicans were now quite willing to give welfare to broke and unproductive economic entities.

A number of years ago, I typed out and published on the web, the following copyright expired article. Read it if you think that I oppose "democratic" government manipulation of the economy. It's been getting a lot of hits lately. It may be one of the earliest suggestions that lack of demand by consumers can cause or sustain an economic crisis. If Obama has 63% and McCain only 16%, then this is no battleground state. Obama would just own the place without any hiccups.
Also, I wonder why so little Priests voted on Obama and so little hunters on McCain? Is this because the number of people interviewed is way too low or is there any real causal relationship between your WoW character and your political affiliation. And why on Earth is there a HUGE difference between Alliance and Horde.
Can anybody shed any light on my questions?

For the same reason that more people play Alliance than Horde - because the Horde are the 'bad guys', essentially. Republicans are reasonably accurately portrayed as seeing the world in a fairly black and white fashion - Americans and allies are good, opponents are bad, so help the good guys, smash the bad guys, call it a day and go home happy. Liberals, on the other hand, see things much more in terms of shades of grey - Americans and allies have a history of doing bad things at times, their opponents are frequently trying to do what they think is right and/or are just average people stuck in a bad situation (enemy soldiers, for example). A more realistic viewpoint, perhaps, but one that also frequently results in paralysis due to the lack of a truly good answer.
Bringing that back to the topic at hand, it's no real wonder that the Horde don't have a lot of Republicans, as how many people really want to be the bad guy? On the other hand, the liberals have much less of a problem playing as the Horde as they can see them with a more sympathetic eye (and, I think sometimes when feeling cynical, love being the underdog as it lets them bitch about being disadvantaged). Also, given that liberals likely play both Horde and Alliance, while Republicans would almost always go Alliance, it's no real wonder that there's more Alliance characters than Horde on most servers (although note that this is, of course, not the only mechanic in determining this - just a big one. And it does apply to players from other countries as well).
Actually it turns out to be becasue alliance has prettier toons. This is why they added the pretty blood elf. Actually, Blizzard has a lot of interesting demographics they monitor and check. I would love to be able to work with their player data and character data. There is a lot of data to carve up and a lot of suprising trends, from what I hear from me friends that work their.
-- The Kruger Dunning explains most post on/. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning%E2%80%93Kruger_effect
The type of player that plays a game to be the good guy smashing the "bad guys" without a second thought is likely to be the guy who votes for a president who does the same. Other players who see that not all the apparent "bad guys" are actually "bad guys" but rather might be a normal person that is portrayed as a "bad guy" by someone else play horde - and are willing to vote for a person who doesn't just point at shoot at the first thing he doesn't understand.

Your completely way off base. Liberals are wusses( i'm refraining from profanity here ) and therefore must be allies. My friends and I are die hard Republicans and choose horde because undead and trolls are punks. Which greatly reflects what the Horde are.
Horde do not care about meaningless votes and prefer to take over with might rather that doing whats rights. Therefore, allie, you are a Liberal. Allies are typically nicer.
Horde are punks...Republicans are punks...The attack on Syria by G.Bush proves my point. I am a punk undead and proud of it.
Yes McCain is a moron btw. Independents and typically stupid...as portrayed in the video. If it takes you 20 months to decide...your vote should be counted. Haha
I chose Horde because they are the bad guys. They reflect my attitude and I have never seen them as weak or good.

I would have totally ganked that tauren if she tried coming into my realm's SW in her birthday suit.
I believe the standard way to do solo gankings is as follows:
Spend an ungodly amount of time raiding and playing battlegrounds to get the best gear possible.
Enlist the help of your guildmates to further enhance your character.
Use any means possible to temporarily boost your character further (once again, guildmates are a great source of magical enhancements).
Go somewhere where there are few players from the other faction and that isn't a world PvP "hotspot" (so that they won't be ready to defend themselves.
Sneak up on the unsuspecting player and hit him/her as hard as you can, throw everything you've got at the poor bastard.
Repeat this until your temporary enhancements start to disappear.
Call in your guildmates to keep a constant corpse-camp for the next few hours, bonus points if you also station a few at the nearest graveyard (in case your victim attempts to resurrect there).
Yeah, there are way to many teenagers out there with too much time on their hands...
Nah, Ganking generally either means a group attack or someone attacking someone who is weaker and unprepared/unable to defend himself. Classic places where this takes place are "Ganklethorn Vale" and the Hillsbrad foothills since they both are contested zones and there are lots of little nooks and crannies to hide in (of course, there's always the classic "lvl 70 on epic mount chasing lower level playing on regular mount" game).
Yep, a bunch of folks who spend all their free time on an online video fantasy world game are a perfect example of how the election will go in America. It also gives me a chance to see who's on the ballot and do some research online to election posts I'm unfamiliar with. Overall I don't really pay much attention to politics or the media, so that's about as close to an informed decision as I can make.
