  11. Fine, then don't patch. At least that means our development environments will not suddenly stop working because of some stupid change like Android NDK 17 removing mips64 support.

If you pay someone enough, some people will confess anything. I've seen a case where someone was paid $25,000 to admit he was a murderer, knowing that they had to release him anyway after a few weeks due to lack of evidence (and unlike the US such a stunt won't get you any real trouble here) but giving the real murderer more time to escape.

  15. If I were Trump I would just veto the bill, just to teach congres to stop this shitty sideloading of bills. There are no "must-pass" laws.

  19. Perhaps it wouold be better for the US to first become a global leader in space exploration again before they have any talk of remaining there.

And why would this be this is bad? Phone companies are clearly not interested in blocking this, let them become dumb datapipes. I can call someone with Signal, WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram and a bunch of others if I want. Those companies do act against spam. And the added advantage is that the NSA and FBI can't listen in. Trump might have liked the situation where overzealous FBI agents could not tap his lines.

  24. I can wait until a decent BluRay rip is on The Pirate Bay. Perhaps I'll even see it after download, unlike the last JJ Abrams Star Trek which I still have to see.
