    Dunno how widespread in the UK they were, but they were there. (Proof: http://www.m2.com/m2/web/story..., https://www.independent.co.uk/...).

    They recently (a few months ago) changed it so they were still classed as a Secure OS, and Root was no longer installed as default - you had to dl and install a separate Zip and install post Lineage install.

    A plugin called "Adblock for YouTube". I use it on Chrome; unsure if available for FF etc
