They're class projects, they're not supposed to be as awesome as something you'd do in your own time.
My project for a similar class at my uni was to build a simple PIC-based LEGO controller, it was nothing special but lots of fun to play with of course, which is the most important thing:)
You got a 250gb HD?
That's just about the saddest thing I've ever heard. I bought a computer very similar to yours but with a 1TB HD @ newegg for $1050 as well.
250gb, seriously? In this day and age?
Actually, I'm getting 20/20 FiOS for only $70/mo which isn't bad. And Verizon's FiOS is covering an ever-increasing area, especially in tech areas like New Jersey and northern Virginia.
A cam is not the same as a 'screener'. These days, DVD screeners usually have near-DVD quality, so for most movies it's quite suitable.
For a movie like Dark Knight, a dvd screener of course wouldn't cut it. But neither will the DVD - I'll download the HD:)
Solution: Get two 750gb drives for the same price as one 1.5TB drive, RAID them, and you've got a drive with have the storage and much better data integrity.
Easy?
If the game is shitty, the developers are not compensated, and maybe they'll learn to make stuff that doesn't blow.
If the game is not shitty, they get just as much compensation as if he bought it from the get-go.
Ron Paul would, I assume, let the coporation deal with the problem however it wants. If TM wants to institute new and better captchas etc, that's their perogative.
Being a libertarian doesn't mean you have to approve of anything and everything capitalist, it just means you support other people's freedom to be capitalist. You're still free to complain about corporations, suggest they do things differently, etc. They're just not forced by the gov't.
I don't think any Libertarian would see gov't intervention and regulation as a solution to this problem. In fact, I don't think any logical person would.
Actually, though this may come as a surprise, the space shuttle is not fueled by money, it's fueled by rocket fuel.
The $9,000/kilo figure is just an average based on how much it costs to launch the shuttle and how heavy the shuttle is. Adding a.5kg lightsaber doesn't change how expensive the launch will be, at all.
I'm a member at a bajillion private sites(i don't use public ones) and I've never had any issues with ratio. You probably just need some different strategies in your seeding than you use on public sites - private sites have nowhere near the amount of leechers that public sites do.
That's ironic, considering the telesync of the movie was released on the interwebs today also.
But everyone already knows the ending for the movie, of course.
MOD PARENT UP
So... what are the mitigating facts which support torture and murder, again? The US military is welcome to add their own facts to the picture...
Dial up to your BBS using the phone line owned by an ISP, right? That'll work well.
Yea, and what kinda hash can you get from it? That's right, epic hash :-p Home-grown plants can also be used to bake with quite nicely.
You are absolutely correct.

Change up IDE for SATA and you might have a chance, since SATA is relatively new and SATA2 is backwards compatible with SATA1, etc.

My guess - unsigned is for anonymous contributors or people with no email/web address, signed is for submitters who gave an email or website.

Actually, Rodinia is *very* similar to Rodina, which is the Russian word for 'motherland'. Odd.

He speaks the truth, this is a total BS story.

Actually, the final version of Vista has been available for ~3 weeks online, so it's not just the beta that people have been hacking away at.
This story is rediculous... Vista has been available to crackers for a very long time.
