Our Great, * however generations before, Grandparents didn't have cars yet they still managed to get around by horse and buggy.

My father didn't have MP3 players yet he managed to listen to music with a boom box still.

My Great Grandfather didn't have a computer in class or google yet he still managed to do research for information.

Just because you didn't have trouble doesn't mean whatever is in the future is not useful. An emergency happens in the middle of a field on the school's track, you have to send someone in to call for help? No pull out a cellphone and call! We have advanced technology for a reason.

Another thing, what happens if your in school to give a deminstration to the students, and for instance you're a doctor, and someone goes to call you for an emergency. Then what. O well school blocked jammed your phone?

This laptop looks amazing, but the downside is simple I can toss a kindle in a small bag and not have problems, I can lay on the bed with my head on the pillow looking up and read a kindle. I can walk into a both room and still have the kindle with me. The point of the kindle is, it is small you can get comfortable like you can with a book. Where you can't with a laptop

  4. Guess I'm a bit weird on Wolverine Film Leaked a Month Before Release · · Score: 1

Let me just start out with I had NO intention on watching the movie AT ALL in the movie theaters.

A friend of mine managed to snag a copy of the movie and we watched it on tv. I must say I was so impressed with the movie and just seeing the special effects they added and seeing the CG not complete and everything peaked my curiosity.

Just watching everything bumped this movie to the top of my list to watch when it comes out!

  5. Re:Election Fraud on Kentucky Officials "Changed Votes At Voting Machines" · · Score: 1

Take this one more step farther.

You go through the process of voting electronically. At the end it prints out a ballot . You check it make sure it is 100% what you wanted then you put into a locked box.

That way we get extreme speed on counting votes electronically and also have a machine to count the paper ballots to double check the electronic votes. Have a number on the Electronic vote and a number on the paper ballot to reference the electronic vote. That way when double checking the votes you can find if any 'errors' have occurred in the electronic vote. and see if anyone was playing with the machine.

Yes you do. Go read Out of Ashes series by William W. Johnstone. Only true way to remove all evil is to kill it were it stands. To show the world if you step out of line, expect the person you messed with to do it 2-fold back. You shouldn't get off easy if you decide to go around and be a "Tough guy". Your butt should be placed against the wall and that person who you abused should choose your punishment! Lucky America is around to tell "terrorist" organizations that we aren't here to play nice or fair. We are here to live in peace and everyone should live in peace.

Microsoft should walk into court and just say IE is our browser. We make it and it's good for our company. If you don't like it being the browser that comes with Windows then Mozilla better start coughing up money for us to bundle a competitive browser with Windows. I use Google chrome. But for me to get it I had to log on to IE go to Google and download it, that is what the average user has to do in order to install it. Take out IE and the computer is worthless.

Utah has become the joking state of the country. They have become so obsessed with babying every citizen there. Look at their video game laws they are trying to pass. They just believe that they have a better understanding on everything and need to control everyones lives. About time you back-hand a politician and tell them they aren't the masters but the slaves to the people.

  12. False on No Video Games on School Nights · · Score: 1

I use to play my xbox hours on end. Some times I would go from 3 in the afternoon till about 4 in the morning, then go to school at 7. My grades never slipped once, I've always mantained a 3.5 GPA. I stopped playing and joined the soccer team, still no change. I find actually playing video games with intelligent people actually can raise your intelligence and not lower it. Example one, playing a tactical shooter. You must stratagies with your team-mates and come up with a way to defeat the other team. Very hard if you actually play it and wanna win and not just mess around. Now playing the normal everyday Madden or NBA games yeah that takes strategy but mostly you play for fun.. Once you get online its a whole different story. Say 'YES' to online game play.
