Indeed, Gameloft did some of the nicer looking games for the N-Gage. Not so much the most entertaining. Yes, I'll admit it, not only do I own one, but I've actually enjoyed the damn thing. (It's a lot easier to sneak into work than a DS, that's for sure!)
Of course, that doesn't make it any less doomed. But it'll have to do for me until OSS phones get down to the cheap side...
Not the "stars" but the studio grunts and the folks in the promotions and marketing departments. I love that argument... and it's funny how the studio grunts will be canned before these "stars" lose any income. Me, I'd cut the $10 million dollar salary before I laid off the guy who brings in the danishes. Gotta prioritize, you know.
I agree that it's not a question of aptitude... I'd go so far to say that the real difference is male immaturity... er... neoteny. We're just playing with our (expensive) toys, right?
More likely than not, our wannabe codemonkey is probably under a hefty debt thanks to student loans. At the very least, s/he's probably under great pressure from Mommy and Daddy to move out of the basement and get a real job.
Once they've got that CS degree -- the one that they were so sure would give them a free ride to a six-figure salary -- they're not too likely to wad it up, throw it in the trash, and go be a schoolteacher. Right?
Hmm! Perhaps the police would have been more interested in your vehicle had it been moving a few miles per hour over the speed limit. (Never ceases to amaze me.)
The irony of Fox News spouting fud about MySpace while being part of the self same organization that owns it is not lost on me. It's called building street cred, I believe.
Seriously... I typed a few of my favorites in (Neuromancer, Snow Crash, Souls in the Great Machine) and kept getting a bunch of miscellaneous Christianity books. I've never felt so validated in my life!
Apparently, the actual survey was a test of selected math questions as well as inquiries as to the student's confidence level and enjoyment of the subject. Given the inverse relationship, wouldn't it be likely that the better performance vs. decreased enjoyment and confidence was simply due to "harder" courses that pushed students more to their limits? E.g., they felt less confident overall due to more complex material, but had acquired more knowledge in the process?
I was wondering how long it would take for someone to say, "Correlation does not imply causation." The writers of TFA did not comprehend TFS, I believe...
The code is 12345.
Isn't duplication one of the most common mutations? We should see some repetition then, I would think...

If people always wanted the best instead of the least expensive, then how the hell does Wal-Mart make so much money?

Well, there is an existing model for using micropayments for access to gaming... ever heard of an arcade? *rimshot*
Google hosting a blog does not imply that Google condones the content of the blog.
