    Umm, imagine a Mexican with 8 arms.

    Octopi have only six arms. The other two are legs. (Six appendages for manipulating objects, two for pulling themselves along. And one of them doubles as a sex organ!)

    Do mice have personalities as much as cats?

    I don't know about mice, but rats have personalities. I have had a few for pets and I can say that they are as clean as cats and as smart as dogs. They have personalities and make friends, they love to entertain and to be entertained.

    cars are pretty expensive, unless there is a huge supply of broken cars i cant see this panning out.

    And a huge care package for extra babies. Call me cold-hearted, but there is a reason that those babies are not surviving. Now that they will survive, there will be even more mouths on each gram of scarce food and more congestion.

    1) Save third world babies
    2) Have a food crisis
    3) Have a population crisis
    4) Have a disease crisis
    5) ???
    6) They die anyway.

    Sadly my boss still types full site urls into the text input box on google... trying to convince him to use the address bar has repeatedly failed.

    I do the opposite for the mother in law. I don't want her typing in yahooo.com by mistake and getting malware. Google generally won't lead you that far astray.

    My ISP (Hot, with Bezeq for infrastructure) provides my with a cable modem without a phone or a television. Actually, I just bought a phone and signed up with their VOIP plan, but it is available without. The OP does not mention what country he is in, should we assume that he is in AOLand? (for those of use who remember when AOL users did not know that they need to append @aol.com onto the end of their email addresses)

    It would be sweet if by some courtroom magic we could use Diebold to fund lots of open source development.

    More likely, this will turn into MS FUD about how the GPL is cancer.

    The software is distributed with the voting machines.

    IANAL, but that should mean that Diebold are required to supply the source to people/organizations that buy their machines.

    More likely, they will buy the alternative license for GhostScript: GS's own "AFPL" license.

    When they sell the machine to the buyer it is distributing the software that the machine runs.

    Google Linksys, they were in a similar situation a few years ago. I'd love to see the same outcome this time!
