Also funny that this is a Victorian era look, but old english is a few centuries before that. I'm sure in another hundred years we'll have people talking about ye olde Slashdot, too.
Well, originally they wanted to go with Verizon in the US, but they wanted to put their shitty Verizon OS on it and add restrictions like they do with every phone they have.
The N95 is 21 mm thick, iPhone is 11.6 mm.
N95 has a 5-hour GSM talk time, 3.5 CDMA. iPhone has 8 hours.
N95, with 8 GB storage, is $749.
With much better battery life while being an entire centimetre thinner, I choose iPhone.
Now I dont know about you, but i've never seen a Mac without Symantec installed on it, and I dont know of a single person who has ever used Geek Squad, IMHO if you need Geek Squad you dont deserve to opperate a computer anyways, and that $1400 you blow on them is your own fault.
Wow, I didn't even know Symantec even makes anto-spyware or the mac, especially since it doesn't exist (for now).
And as for Geek Squad, the Best Buys in my city give you a Geek-Squad install thing when you buy a new computer, so I'd assume that after they set up a box in people's homes they realize that the service was quite nice and get them in more often.
That "little gray icon" detail is no longer a point, since in iTunes 7.x videos are moved to the "Music Videos" section on the library. The music part of the album will burn.
So you don't really know if it was transferred out of the building... you just assume it was because there was static on the line. You know, when you assume, you make an ass out of u and me.
So they wanted to send the machine away? As in out of the city?
That seems greatly inefficient. My repairs were always done by them ordering the part in from Apple and repairing in-store, not the other way around.
Apple now considers the whine to be a defect, even though it causes no performance loss. I took mine to a local reseller (no Apple Stores in Edmonton, AB) and he replaced the entire motherboard.
Also, some of the finish near the keyboard was chipping off. Applecare replaced it without a hiccup, again a cosmetic defect.
Of course, a business machine owner would not find this to be satisfactory, as having to wait about 5 days is not an option.
As a consumer I find Apple's tech support top notch.
They even replaced my iPod by mail when I brought it in the pool with me (of course not telling them that it was in the pool), and I didn't even have to call them. You just email them from apple.com/support and they do everything.
Why does a virtual music player need a stop button? Pause does the same thing, except when you press play again it starts from where you left it off.
And when you select a different playlist, it turns into a stop button since you can no longer see the song selected.
I guess I'm a typical Apple apologist for liking the Dock as well; and Exposé, and Dashboard, and not having to open a new window to get to my CD drive since it mounts to the desktop...
An interface is exactly that, how a user interfaces with a computer system. Are you going to can people who like exercising at home "Treadmill apologists" for not running outside? Don't slag on someone's personal preferences.
Haven't used a floppy since...
2000?
I bought a 10-pack because I needed one to hold a powerpoint presentation, the other 9 are still sitting on the desk, next to the new computer with no floppy drive.
OS X's Airport menu in the menubar will place these networks in its own grouping, called "Computer-to-Computer networks".
I keep Windows Sharing off in the Sharing preference pane, and also never connect to a computer-to-computer network unless I know who's computer it is.
There's always a "Free WiFi access" computer in my building on campus, I wonder how many people he dupes....
Yes, because Software Update was specifically designed to deal with credit card purchases.
Being that everyone who gets an Apple TV will want 802.11n, it makes sense that iTunes would be the hub for everything; including, I presume, the streaming settings for Apple TV.
I find is articles a welcome reprieve from the rather internet-dominant anti-mac ramblings found elsewere. It's the same as having a subscription to right- and left-wing centric periodicals like my Western Standard (it's up in Canada) and the extremely leftist Adbusters.

It was originally supposed to sound muddled, so you could not tell if it was father or fucker. I guess we'll see if it's still ambiguous.

Hey! That last one is MSTRKRFT! thanks for the pic meng
Yeah, what was he thinking???
Yeah, they don't even take into consideration Rule 37.
Last time I checked Spain was connected to France and Portugal with USB, and was sending OGG files over the Strait of Gibralter.

I'm pretty sure Apple doesn't use out-sourced India tech support... are you sure you just didn't have a guy with an Indian accent?

Forgot about that factor, thanks.
I would assume that they would be using flash-based iPods rather than HDD models, as I doubt a 1.8" drive could withstand an airplane crash.
OS X automatically defrags files as they are created in the background.

Well then isn't that a lock-out, not a lock-in?

That seems to make mroe sense, a 99 update over te iTunes network would be simple enough.
