i SOOO hope this isnt a 4/1 Day joke...ive wanted a robot pet since i was like 6 or 7...CT, if this a joke, your ass is grass for joking with a boyhood dream...j/k (about the ass is grass stuff). PLEASE be real...all those QT3 movies looked VERY real and those lookjust like the robot pet schematics ive seen b4
acshully we had quite a few snow flurries here this winter, BUT that thawed pretty fast...i'm sure Linus is used to slightly larger amounts of snow than most ppl from silicon valley are;)
that damn site is filled w/ java and it keeps slowing my werkstation (p2/266/128MBram) to a grinding halt...that its NT doesnt help tho...but STILL...what kind of idiot puts soo much java crap on a front page? erf
altho it IS a clause that violates the OSD, the limitation is not on ALL foreign countries, but only those that the USA has embargos on etc. I have no idea what the ramifications are legally, but i REALLY wish Apple could clean up their APSL.
praise the maize! with these tools and you could get a hurd of PSX2 game dev groups...that would be sweet:) as long as the games were cool anyway...i dont need 10,000 versions of Tetris even if it IS in 128-bit emotion-chip glory
It looks like a pretty funny show and even has the voice talent of the woman that played Peggy Bundy on Married With Children hehehe (she does th voice of the 1-eyed chick) What the Simpsons did for social commentary, look to see Futurama spoof scifi movies and show as well as poke fun at stupid primitive humans in the 20th century (look at the way we think of 10th century people and their Dark Ages etc)
i agree with u Rob.../. has come a LONG way and is truely impressive, and not a bloated [language-of-the-week]-filled mess like most news sites *coff* MSNBC *coff* keep up the good werk!:)
Those were vaugly cool at the time (like 8 years ago) but are just totally lame now. First, its a "24-bit" system...i think i remember it having one 16bit processor and one 8 bit processor... the carts were HUGE... AND cost about 150 to 200 bucks... the game selection became fairly bad after a while, with about 3000 fighting game clones. I mean SNK is still tryin to pawn off those games in the arcades with their now-crappy graphics and gameplay and rehashe of once-great games like Samurai Showdown. This is pretty much a 3d gaming world now...time for the NeoGeo to go awaaaaaaay
Is it just me, or is Tux kind of stupid?

Thank god that Gate$ doesnt write software anymore, or windows would be totally in Visual Basic...come to think of it WOULD be good cause then the software would suck harder than a singapore whore

actually if you bothered to read the artcile, its Ballmer that created the plan. I'm sure it's just because of this trial...I personally hope their stock dwindles to nothin and they vanish from earth...we can always hope.
My friends and I would watch the show every saturday night and have a great time, then they moved it to sunday night, which is a school nite for my friends (they have to be back in their assortted colleges), and now THIS:( Xfiles, DS9 , MST3k, and various other fav shows of mine are ending this year...looks like the next millenium is really gonna blow, TV wise *sigh*
