    Huh? Of course you can hide whatever you want. Encrypted partitions - only unlocked when you actually use them - then locked again.


    E4M (Encryption for the Masses) is what I use. It _was_ open source, freely available from http://www.e4m.net - but now it's gone payware. However, this is what the license says:

    This product can be copied and distributed free of charge, including source code.

    ... so I'm handing out the w32 .exe I have here to everyone who wants it. I guess there are others with the sourcecode aswell.

    from any kind of conceivable moral standpoint.

    If you bothered to check you might realise that a majority of the countries in the world, and a majority of the populations in most of the other countries, were AGAINST a US invasion of Iraq.

    That does NOT equal being against doing something about Saddam Hussein. We DO however object to the US invading countries as it sees fit, when it deems it necessary, and the starts to exploit the natural resources in those countries for its own gain.

    I hope you remember your own words above when China all of a sudden decides to liberate Texas - to bring back Mexican rule. *sigh*

    Agreed. You REALLY need to learn more about other countries. We laugh at your so called "freedom" which might exist on paper - but sure as hell not in your daily lives if you're not a white right-voting citizen.

    CS seems expensive, you need a network of computers. What happens when you have no one to play with?

    Think outside of the box. Pac-man will probably never become a game - but it's a VERY interesting concept done with a 20 year old game as showcase.

    Uhm, it wouldn't mess up anything. A 1280*1024 colourdisplay is essentially a 3840*1024 "monochrome"-display (each R,G,B being separate elements). If you wouldn't need separate elements, you'd have a true 3840*1024 colour display, which would be vastly superiour to sub pixel rendering .. :)

    Someone said it's a problem with 1.4.1_02 - and the new 7.11 for Windows actually comes with 1.4.1_01 instead.

    I have no idea what I'm running - but I don't have those crashes.

    There's a bug in how Opera handles encrypted SMTP also - but we've posted a description of the error in their forum and it'll "hopefully" be fixed in 7.20 ..

    (For the interested: Opera does not send a second EHLO after STARTTLS, thus quits since it didn't find an AUTH the first time around)

    What's wrong with an 8 year old getting that photo then?

    Responsible parents will tell the 8 year old what it is, that the people who sent it are "bad" people and the 8 year old will concentrate his/her need for knowledge on something else.

    It's when you start to CENSOR what your 8 year old is allowed to see & hear you're getting into trouble, because that 8 year old WILL FIND OUT - and maybe in a worse way than you as a parent telling him/her ..

    Them, of course, I'm in a far more liberal/free/open country than the US.

    When I was an employee at Symbian, I read about the (then) current record. One woman (I believe) had used her Psion Series 5 for 1.5 years without a single reboot.

    Now my memory might be failing me, but I wrote a _lot_ of 68000 asm programs on my Atari ST - and I can't remember any 64Kb issues .. ?

    AMD's rating system does not compare to Intel CPUs but to old Athlons. Thus - AMD's probably correct, and naive customers feel cheated.
