Huh? Of course you can hide whatever you want. Encrypted partitions - only unlocked when you actually use them - then locked again.
E4M (Encryption for the Masses) is what I use. It _was_ open source, freely available from http://www.e4m.net - but now it's gone payware. However, this is what the license says:
This product can be copied and distributed free of charge, including source code.
... so I'm handing out the w32.exe I have here to everyone who wants it. I guess there are others with the sourcecode aswell.
So, ask your brother - how many Iraqis were active in pulling down the Saddam statue. Let's compare his answer, proxied through you, with the PICTURES taken by the television crews.
If you bothered to check you might realise that a majority of the countries in the world, and a majority of the populations in most of the other countries, were AGAINST a US invasion of Iraq.
That does NOT equal being against doing something about Saddam Hussein. We DO however object to the US invading countries as it sees fit, when it deems it necessary, and the starts to exploit the natural resources in those countries for its own gain.
I hope you remember your own words above when China all of a sudden decides to liberate Texas - to bring back Mexican rule. *sigh*
"The Al Qaeda connection and nuclear weapons issue were the only two ways that you could link Iraq to an imminent security threat to the U.S.," notes Greg Thielmann, who retired in September after 25 years in the State Department, the last four in the Bureau of Intelligence and Research. "And the administration was grossly distorting the intelligence on both things."
I (white caucasian, atheist, well educated, living in a "western nation") consider the US to be the largets threat to world peace there is. Guess what, I'm not alone.
The United States has provided the greatest freedom and prosperity of its people than any other nation or civilization in the history of the planet
... and... It's really a shame there isn't a mod in slashdot for total idiot.
Agreed. You REALLY need to learn more about other countries. We laugh at your so called "freedom" which might exist on paper - but sure as hell not in your daily lives if you're not a white right-voting citizen.
(if you haven't got IGN Insider - here's a teaser: "But then I actually played Pac-Man and was left thinking: I went to the E3 this year where Miyamoto re-invented multi-player gaming. Where did everyone else go?")
Have you ever heard about Hitler throwing most of his army at Russia, where they using a very old technique had the Germans endure a Russian winter and thereby defeated them - after which they marched all the way in and liberated Berlin.
I doubt you're European. If you are - you should know that RUSSIA - not the USA - saved our butts in WWII.

Uhm, it wouldn't mess up anything. A 1280*1024 colourdisplay is essentially a 3840*1024 "monochrome"-display (each R,G,B being separate elements). If you wouldn't need separate elements, you'd have a true 3840*1024 colour display, which would be vastly superiour to sub pixel rendering..:)
There's a bug in how Opera handles encrypted SMTP also - but we've posted a description of the error in their forum and it'll "hopefully" be fixed in 7.20..
(For the interested: Opera does not send a second EHLO after STARTTLS, thus quits since it didn't find an AUTH the first time around)
What's wrong with an 8 year old getting that photo then?
Responsible parents will tell the 8 year old what it is, that the people who sent it are "bad" people and the 8 year old will concentrate his/her need for knowledge on something else.
It's when you start to CENSOR what your 8 year old is allowed to see & hear you're getting into trouble, because that 8 year old WILL FIND OUT - and maybe in a worse way than you as a parent telling him/her..
Them, of course, I'm in a far more liberal/free/open country than the US.
When I was an employee at Symbian, I read about the (then) current record. One woman (I believe) had used her Psion Series 5 for 1.5 years without a single reboot.

I'm on a 2.5/0.75Mbit ADSL. Current BT-speeds: 250kb/s down, 70kb/s up.
Good enough for me.
Moderators that don't know what "bignum" is and how it's realated to WASTE shouldn't mod informative comments "offtopic".
That Russia wasn't the most pleasant liberator does not change the fact that Hollywood don't write good historybooks :)
CS seems expensive, you need a network of computers. What happens when you have no one to play with?
Think outside of the box. Pac-man will probably never become a game - but it's a VERY interesting concept done with a 20 year old game as showcase.
Maybe you should read this about that Pac-Man ..

I googled, but all the places I found said that MS indeed had supplied the source to GCC (which was the GPL'd component) .. what am I missing?
Maybe you should read some more? You might learn something about your own country.
Someone said it's a problem with 1.4.1_02 - and the new 7.11 for Windows actually comes with 1.4.1_01 instead.
I have no idea what I'm running - but I don't have those crashes.

Upgrade it - there's new (and much improved) software released since just a week ago or so.

PDA? Get yourself a Sony Ericsson P800 instead. Phone, PDA, Opera, Bluetooth .. etc.
Umm .. what?

Now my memory might be failing me, but I wrote a _lot_ of 68000 asm programs on my Atari ST - and I can't remember any 64Kb issues
AMD's rating system does not compare to Intel CPUs but to old Athlons. Thus - AMD's probably correct, and naive customers feel cheated.
