i hate to break it to you. but most walgreens, walmarts, k-marts and other stores i've seen all print out using the same inkjet printers you can buy anywhere. especially if they have those "serve yourself" print kiosk setups. so no different quality than you're going to get at home anyway.
ok. but can someone please explain to me how someone has all the time to read over 800 books, in-depth, and write a decent review on them all? even at it for a full-time job. hmm...
all too often i see on the news how some 911 operators botched a call into them anyway. i don't see the feds going after them to even handle them correctly. what's the sense of dialing 911 if they can't help you?
who cares? none of this means anything to me, wanna know why?
I CAN'T BUY A PLAYER OR DISCS IN EITHER FORMAT RIGHT NOW!
so who cares how much it can hold?!?!
ATTN: I hearby announce my new holographic crystal format can now store 1,000,000,000 tetrabites on a crystal the size of a grain of salt. This device not yet available for sale, please come back in 100 years.
I'm going to patent it all too and sue the bejeezus out of anyone who even attempts to copy it!
penty of room up there. and for anyone who travels on a regular basis and is most likely in the multitude of frequent flyer clubs your upgrades are free.
not that i'd want to be lugging around a 19" computer. my 12" powerbook is very sweet for travel.
uhh guess what. christians didn't invent marriage. unions between couples existed far before christians did. you didn't patent the process so stop trying to control it. 'kthxbye!
if all it takes is one uppety priest to get MS to change their views on something why didn't someone send one years ago and tell microsoft they were going to hell for their business practices???
1. invent technology 2. apply for patent 3. show technology to microsoft (who then copies said technology) 4. sue microsoft for infringing on patent 5. wait for buyout settlement 6. PROFIT!
hackers, desperate to spread their malware and viruses are now distributing them on old audio casette media. they then mail these casettes to unsuspecting foo^H^H^Hpeople telling them they are the latest MP3 songs that the RIAA has yet to discover.
these foo^H^H^Hpeople are then instructed to dig up a old walkman, connect it to their computers (only old apple//'s, commodore 64's, vic 20's. and atari's need apply) and spend 30 minutes while the casette loads.
they are then surprised that instead of the latest release from brittany spears they have been infected with nasty viruses that can't do much because most of these machines don't have network connections, a tcp/ip stack or even work!
symantic and others said they'd get right to work on it. after paying off the writers for helping them reap in millions in business.
I'm just wondering. Does/. keep log files of everyone's activity? What happens if the site gets busted one day for subversive, anti-corporate, anti-government thoughts? Will they go through all the log files and lock us all up?
Hmm.. Maybe I'll just post as an AC from now on through an anonomizier...
heh. and 99% of the masses are running windows and think they're using the "best" operating system in the world. sheer numbers doesn't mean the best product, redhat or otherwise.
as for RHCE, i lump that in the same category as all the other certifications. worth about as much as the paper they are printed on. ok. your class teaches you how to install redhat on a box with some obscure nic. it's not going to teach you how to deal with the day-to-day life of running unix servers. the same pretty much applies to mse/cne/etc.
let me get this straight. you're going to spend probably 6 minutes reading "which linux distro is the best" then you're going to spend 6 months learning it and then put it into production thinking you're an expert on it?
please, don't send me your resume.
if you've spent years learning windows. then stay a windows administrator. leave unix to the people who have spent years on that platform.
if you're new to any operating system, WTF are you doing installing it in a production environment?
new to gentoo or debian or redhat or windows. if you don't know the OS you shouldn't be pushing it in production. if you know the product enough to be hired as an administrator in it, then you should have no problems with it in a production environment.
debian isn't any easier to learn than gentoo just because you can apt-get a package vs emerge some source to compile. both distros can install a successfully working package in one line (or bork a system in one other line)
why can't one play games and have a life? the two aren't mutually exclusive. i don't play games all day and i don't spend all day running around out of the house either. i played muds in college and didn't flunk out, i hold a steady, very well paying job, have a significant other, spend time with family and friends, and lately have enjoyed running around in WoW (which IS damn fun).
sorry if you can't manage to play games and have a life away from a computer, but not much of a challenge for me.
the xbox 720 (whatever the next one is) will be $300 and the games will be $89?
ouch.
...try, try again.
See. It works!

no duh! this is news?
ok. but can someone please explain to me how someone has all the time to read over 800 books, in-depth, and write a decent review on them all? even at it for a full-time job. hmm...
the firewall or the hacker?
apple goes to intel!
microsoft found guilty of patent infringement!
i've woken up in bizzaro world!

can have a patent! one free with every box of patent-o's brand (tm) (not to be confused with (c) or (r) or a pantent) breakfast cereal!
1000 different patents each with unique super-powers, descriptions and battle-histories!
collect them all!
so. invent something better that isn't subject to these abuses.
two words:
first class

there was actually a sequel and another sequel that wasn't made. Shock Treatment and "Revenge of the Old Queen".

mmorg's are new? did you just land on our planet here? i've been on muds for 13 years or so.
