At night I sometimes hear the coyotes sing right over in the field that abuts our backyard sometimes at night. I suspect they are behind one or two of our cats who have gone missing. Still they are shy so a gun isn't needed to protect onself from them. Though, if humans didn't historically have guns to defend with, the coyotes might be bolder.

They do have to work at procuring a car, thankfully. One of the 'footnotes' of interest in the recent London Bridge assault that I did not see get much attention is that the terrorists wanted to rent a heavy 4.5 ton box truck to run over people with in their attack. They had fucked up credit though, so all they could rent was a small van. They loaded it with some bags of gravel to try to make it a better weapon.

Strap them down in beds to 'protect' them and preserve yours as the only allowed understanding of morality and mortality. Because you're a selfish fucker who will have his way.

Over infestation with dandelions is poor ground cover, but grass with patches of clover and Holly and some dandelions is good ground cover and attractive. Huge zones of monoculture grass are death zones. It's people trying to extend the huge zone of life-absence that a 'clean' house represents to the outdoors.

When people drenched the whole world around themselves with chemicals, they aren't doing themselves a favor.

White tailed deer are a plague species that spreads wherever man allows them. They replace native species in many areas. What is even more of a problem is that large deep populations are seen by many as evidence that nature is thriving. And a significant number of the people who actually get out into the woods are white tailed deer fans because they enjoy recreationally hunting them.

Perhaps Google wants to free hardware developed by this guy to the Android hardware base in the same way they free Android. I.e. have him developing flagship hardware that becomes a reference design for all the Android hardware shops eventually. It isn't that far off to recognize a big point of the Nexus product line has always been to act as a reference design. Pixel can be used that way as well. Google benefits from all vendors who roll out Android-based products.
