    They didn't have anything to do with me because not many people knew me...they were judging based on appearence only, which is the ultimate in stupidity. I turned out just fine with a house, well paying job, and wonderful woman...on the other hand, a lot of the people that used to stare or make fun of me are now either in jail or fucked up...go figure.

    How does that saying go? Don't make fun of a nerd, he'll be your CEO some day?

    In high school, I was mostly a loner...sure I had my close friends, but for the most part I was considered one of the "freaks"

    Personally, I used to embrace it...whenever people would give me an odd look or anything like that, I would just give it right back to them...if they asked why I was looking at them weird, my answer was thus:

    "Sorry...I was just trying to make sure you realized how fucking stupid you looked with that smirk on your face"

    It's amazing how many people in high school are all talk.

    this is a good thing. Neither of these titles are as big as say Mass Effect or Final Fantasy (although the exclusivity of FF13 is in question)...I actually want to see smaller lesser known titles such as these on multiple systems just to get their exposure increased (even though prior to the comments above, I didn't realize that Kane was a lesser known title...then again, I had never heard of the other one so ::shrug:: whatever)

    Maybe it's because I don't pretend to know what I'm talking about, or maybe I am just stupid...why does ANYONE care what Microsoft charges for ANYTHING?

    NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE is forcing ANYONE to use ANYTHING from Microsoft. Microsoft doesn't go around holding guns to people saying you MUST use our shit...millions of OSX and Linux users prove that point.

    Why do people care what they charge? Just like any other company, if you don't like the price....DON'T FUCKING BUY IT.

    You seem to be of the middle-aged crowd, so allow me to explain this to you:

    Things change. Technology changes. People are passing this off because it seems like it's pointless.

    It's not pointless, it's just something in it's early stages. When it matures, it will just provide you with another option of how to buy/navigate/whatever...just like now if you really wanted to you could continue doing long division and using a slide rule...no one is FORCING you to use a calculator.

    But a calculator for some people is much easier.

    Hey sony, how about instead of making a system with a larger hard drive as an option you try to find ways to cut down on the manufacturing costs so you can lower the price of the current 60 gig model? Who knows, mabye you will get more people like me who aren't buying the PS3 primarily because of the price...

    It's not that I can't afford it, it's that I can't justify it.

    Yes, actually. Every single day, either myself or my flatmates (depending on who leaves last) locks the door.

    Every.

    Single.

    Day.

    Except for once. About three months ago, I accidently left the top lock unlocked...that day, we came home to a door that was busted in, 3 laptops were missing, two Xbox 360's, and a 42" plasma TV. Never noticed anyone suspicious in our neighborhood, only people that are ever in our place are our families/girlfriends.

    So yes, I would say that leaving your house/car unlocked is the same as inviting someone in.

    ...just different. With all the money and technology that goes into games now, it allows developers to more closely bring their vision to reality. With more advanced tools brings about "better" graphics, more depth, and more detail.

    Back in the day, they weren't better...just different. Gameplay was number one soley because graphics were unable to be number one. It is my firm belief that had the technology and money of today had been available "back then", the gaming industry would have been exactly what it is now.

    Apparently, you are one of the many fools that judge things simply based on hardware...Microsoft aren't the only ones who should be accused of adding bloat to their software you know...

    See, a long time ago in a galaxy far far away, people had to actually be careful about how much memory and processing power they used...granted, they still need to be careful today, but I can assure you that programmers now do not code NEARLY as tight as they did 20 years ago.

    What's up with that?

    Wasn't aware that he no longer released stuff on his own...Reznor started Nothing Records with his manager...in fact, I think Marylin Manson was signed on to it for a time.

    That's even mroe bizzare...what's the point of owning your own record label if you are just gonna whore yourself out to another one?

    Doesn't Reznor own his own music label? Wouldn't that make it his perogative if he wants to give away the music on HIS LABEL for free? What could the RIAA possibly have to say about this if Reznor owns the label?
