I have the 750GB (USB2) version connected to CentOS 5 running VMWare clients hosted on it with no problems. This is a dev box and do not host production on it. All I did was use Acronis Disk Director to shrink the NTFS partition and create a new ext3 partition and mount it.
I'm having success with it, then maybe I'm just lucky thus far...
They should just say parts of the town of Greenwich, because FiOS service only covers parts of a single city (Greenwich) in Connecticut. The Byram area of Greenwich is the only place I've seen have FiOS service.
It's not about what you believe to be correct. It's about what people use. Maybe it's you (and Debian maintainers) that have the problem here. Think about it. All the commercial OSs release the update, yet someone that controls something that is non-profit decides he is right and everyone else is wrong. The reason the commercial OSs release it? Because people use it!
"This is likely to affect Google's ranking because while users visit the site often, they don't usually spend much time there.
Research + tabbed browsing = lots of time on Google.
I do lots of research on many things. Once I have search results, I generally just open each found result in a new tab leaving Google's search result open at all times.
Postini is a fully managed service. DSPAM and Spamassassin is not.
I have used Spamassassin and Postini (not DSPAM) Postini is a cakewalk, Spamassassin while good, is not. Postini offers many things that DSPAN and Spamassassin does not. Like email spooling among other things. I think the best part of Postini is that I don't have to manage the hardware and software. I create Postini accounts and thats about it.
Also, I do not allow any connections originating from the outside to connect to our Exchange servers except Postini's. That alone to me is worth the price by itself. Top it off with virus and spam filtering and I'm happy. I have almost zero management concerning virus and spam filtering.

This is speculation. I don't care how good you *think* you are about protecting something. There is no way you can say it will "Never" be compromised. Same goes for Blackberries and any other *thing* of any sort. This statement is nothing more than *spin* or damage control.
I'm ready for a Music Industry Apocalypse. Like Chicago in 1909, let it burn to the ground. It will be rebuilt with more ethics in mind rather than selfish greed.
Another question hanging over Xen performance concerns the availability of paravirtualized drivers for Windows.
This isn't true completely. The problem is you cannot get these drivers by downloading the OpenSource Xen. You MUST buy the XenSource version. If you run Windows on the *complete* open source version, your network throughput is going to suck like you would not believe. You have to use the XenSource version to get the paravirtualized drivers that bring the network performance closer to what it should be. Virtual Iron has a set of drivers also. (which I believe are better than Xen's, but don't hold me to that)
I found a lot of great insight about virtualizing from Xen to VMWare to Virtual Iron and others on this site. http://ian.blenke.com/xen
It's not a gaming addiction, it's a social addiction. Most of the people are addicted to MMORPG. It's not the game, it's the socializing aspect of the game. A lot of players are socially defunct in normal situations, but the games become a buffer allowing people to have something in common.
Options & Choice. Yes, I think it is a bad thing. I happen to use both Opera and Firefox. (at the same time!) While I agree a lot of the time I just want a stripped down tool to do the job without all the fluff, but with the Internet experience and all it encompasses; a browser has to do more than just render text.
Users of the future operating system will have to keep working with HFS+, a filesystem that is almost ten years old now.
They should be using a more mature filesystem like FAT which is thirty one (1976) years old rather than an immature youngster like HFS+ that is only ten years old.;)
I think ZFS on Mac is a great idea, and I'm not even an Apple Fanboy. What I want is ZFS ported to Linux, (not via FUSE) but that would require Sun to change or dual license ZFS to allow it. (Currently under the CDDL license I beleive)
Vista is a single word, it is a common word, and it's in the dictionary. Whomever allowed such a trademark should not be allowed to have any job that requires any type of logical thought. Maybe if he had Trademarked "Tele Vista" and it was Microsoft's Tele Vista, he would have some sort of case thought probably not.
Anyone who can play by ear should be sued every time they listen to music.
On top of that, if you play a song written by someone else at a gig or even in your own home you are infringing on said persons copyrights and should be burned at the stakes.
Why does the music industry want to kill itself so badly?

I keep hearing say this is coming, but when is someone actually going to go through with actually doing it?

Damnit, Google is just like Microsoft. They always have to get their grubby little hands on everyone elses good stuff. Forkit, I'm forking it! :)

The Turtleboy video link below it (http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1754381') was far more amusing. :)
Taxation without Representation. Rebel people! The start of a new revolution! It's July 4th 1776 all over again!
I just wonder why they waited so long to sue? If he really stole their idea in 2003, why wait four years?"
It's obvious. Starting a business is A LOT of work. Why not let someone else do it, then step in and take the bankroll?

:)
I created a zero gravity shitter for my 7th grade science project. I would have sold it to them for half that price.

Thanks, I was reading a one-way street (only able to read Jonathan's comments) in this story. :)

Maybe, this will finally be the straw that breaks the software patent camel's back.

All Slashdot users apply for the same patent. Then we can all fight for the baby.
