Or, really badly designed looney pages (such as, cough, MSN) will lock you out if you use Opera. I'm not talking about the front-page lockout that happened last month; I mean the mysterious member directory lockout.
Forget the stupid penalities, if they don't include women, I'm not going to sign with them. Buggering idiots. Maybe they'll go away if I tell them that I'm gay.

When was the last time you checked? Nowadays Slashdot has barely 3 users. Comments are astroturfed by own staff using multiple personas. I, for example, am actually CmdrTaco's cat.
I can do that just fine with Windows ME. Simply download War-FTP, boot, share a directory, post link to my favorite FTP list... voila! 11 users logged on!
It does make sense for ISPs to provide their customers with "package" access to websites, though... free websites will definitely always be more popular, but how are they going to survive without a cash flow?
...anybody going to buy advertising for words like "CowboyNeal" and "First Post" and link them to goatse.cx? That's a good way to use the technology, methinks.
I hope they fix their design by the time they get out of beta, or else Teoma is doomed. BTW, I'll never switch over from Google, what with the cache option and all.
