Worked at a major fast food restaurant in the late 80's. My bosses boss was in the store. I was detained for about 2 hours to do some cleaning & such so he wouldn't have to call in someone else for someone who had called in sick. I was not happy & squealed my tires on the way out of the parking lot. The next day...my boss called me into his office...slammed me against the wall & told me...while holding me to the wall...that if I ever pulled that sh!t again to make him look bad...he would make sure I would never forget this & that talk. Heard that his boss & him were indicted for fraud in another state. Never heard if they went to jail...but if so...hope they enjoyed being held against their will as some guy about 4 times their size discussed the situation with them.

I think I need to do some research...

For the about close to the same cost of what you're paying that cable monopoly in your community for their DVR service...you can get a Windows 7 PC with either a digital TV tuner or buy a hybrid analog/digital tuner. Running Windows Media Center...you get a free program guide which comes with it. Say you don't want to keep this PC in your viewing area...get a cheap netbook with a wired switch & run that to your TV.

Might cost you more in the beginning...but when they will increase your bill every 6-12 months because they can & will...there you go...you've still got your setup & they can't take that away from you.

Did I mention I hate most ads?

According to the industry...just recording their programs for later viewing is stealing...since the ads they're running may not be applicable for whatever later time I may watch the show. Plus...I'm stealing future revenue...since having seen the average TV show...don't want to watch it again...so no season whatever of that show on DVD or ITunes.

Just wonder how much of a load they would drop when they find out I edit out EVERY commercial...so I don't need to watch a wasted 15-20 minutes of the hour they STEAL from me. Do I really need to be told I can't get it up anymore without the blue pill or make sure to remind me that that time of the month is coming up?

You want me to watch your commercials...you pay me to do so. At that time...you'll have my full attention & will gladly give you the time I would otherwise spend for my own pleasuring.

Had the principal & police physically carry out the student.

You wonder why anyone will put up with this behavior. For all those teachers who have been there 5/10/20 years...how many teachers just gave up after their first/second/third year from being assaulted right and left from anyone with an axe to grind? Only professional football players last longer at their job (average four years) than many teachers (average three years). If you had to deal with these "little dem...angels" on a daily basis with their bad behavior at your private sector job...chances are you wouldn't put up with it...but would have no problem going after a teacher who has to put up with it from your child by showing they aren't God's gift to the universe or they are the most perfect child.

You want to change teachers & schools...do as Jesus commanded..."Do unto others as you would have them do unto you". Recognize your children are not the "little angels" they are claiming to be and ask yourself why the teacher is having a problem with your child. If the child doesn't recognize now they're not "special" by not being an obnoxious jerk...the bosses at their numerous low-paying jobs will make sure they recognize it and take appropriate action to make sure they understand this.

When the US is number 36 or 37 in terms of healthcare...but if you're poor...you're living like in a 3rd World country...doesn't say much about this country. I know people are going to bust my balls about how great is all the freedom we "enjoy" in this country. When you have around 17 percent of your population un/underemployed...these members aren't any better of than those living in Central America or Africa. I would love to be able to get my teaching degree...but with the outrageous cost/benefit to do so with governments firing teachers & such...it's not worth it. I would be thousands of dollars in debt & still un/underemployed as much as I am right now.

I know some of you will tell me...love it or leave it. If I could afford to do so...I would move permanently to Canada/Europe in a heartbeat.

They're also very highly rated in terms of their low wealth disparity (road fines for example are based on a percentage of your annual income so that a rockstar in a ferrari feels the same sting in their speeding ticket as does a poor person in a skoda), and human development index.

Can't have that happen...since if you're rich...you're special. It's like the old question...what's the difference between being a porn star & the working poor in the US? The porn star is paid for having it done to them while the working poor gets it done to them for free.

I could go on. The key point is that nations all make decisions about their priorities - the US believes in waging war and keeping the poor unhealthy and uneducated, other nations do not.

As long as you have a religious/moral basis for practicing this type of behavior...it will continue. As a practicing Christian...I find US history/policies SHAMEFUL & not having a conscience to put an end to this behavior. There has to be a point where compassion/ethics/morality become a better way of life than being as rich as you can get. Jesus never said..."Do unto others before they do it to you". This should be put on US money...rather than "In God We Trust"...since it is the truth.
