    Couldn't get it to load on a Android 2.1 system, even though the maker says on his demo page that it runs on an iPod Touch/iPhone system, though slowly. Wondering why Android was left out.

    iPod touches/iPads != iPhones. The same apps won't work on it if they require microphones, cameras, etc., and thus these devices shouldn't be counted.

    Either accept that or all the arguments about Android "fragmentation" go out the window! Or, we could start including Android MID's and Tablet's and hell, even GM's new Volt in-car computer in with the Android numbers.

    Cyanogen supports the updates he makes for my G1 far more than HTC and T-Mobile does, in my opinion.

    When there's a bug in the CM mod, it's usually fixed within a series of days.

    I wonder about the whole "carries the logo" thing -- my partner just bought an HTC Incredible, and it's got the "Google" branding on it, but it's definitely not a "Google Experience" device.

    I'm not familiar with an RSS reader that's built-into Android (and that Google would even have anything to do with) -- are you sure it's not HTC's invention? You might need to be addressing your letter to them.

    Ah, but in the business world, there is no such thing as conspiracies, only profits to be made.

    You have to admit that if Apple can keep themselves in the news for a few more months, staving off any more people abandoning the platform for Android (now that their AT&T contracts are up), it'd certainly be profitable for them in the end...

    Obviously, the free market could've fixed this problem better. The planes that are piloted by minesweeper-playing pilots would crash, leading to less people flying that particular airline.

    Just more proof that Apple is now basically a force fighting against freedom. ARM is helping unseat Intel's monopoly over the computing market by licensing out their design to hundreds of individual chip makers, and Apple apparently wouldn't bat an eye at stopping that relative freedom.

    I really don't see corporate America ever allowing this to happen. It'll either be painfully easy to circumvent these cards, or there'll be so many loopholes and exceptions that they won't have any power.
