    Rotational media will always return more revenue because of their limited life cycle. These companies see no benefit in selling SSD's cheap when they may outlast standard hardrives by 10 fold. Most consumer goods are designed to last only so long.

    Cloud Hosting not only saves your money with licenses and hardware, but you also save money with backing up your data. Our company doesn't use Cloud Hosting, and it gets very expensive with all the equipment we have to maintain and license. We also have to maintain DR servers in-case of catastrophic failure. But the drawback to Cloud Hosting is raw processing/network speed, unless you can afford a very high speed Fiber WAN.

    I know it sounds crazy, but just think, if we all vote online, we can all keep track of our votes. We can see what/who we voted for, and have the option to publicly announce it online. If we think someone has been fudging the numbers, a re-count could be a simple has checking your email, and verifying how you voted. I would think that it would be easier for computer geeks to catch problems if something doesn't look right. When I vote on paper, I never see that ballet again. Who knows what happens to it, probably gets trashed.

    Facebook doesn't offer much that people absolutely need, and most of their revenue comes from advertising. Once people get sick of the spam and popups, people will flock to someplace else. I wouldn't invest my money if Facebook.

    This is nothing new really. They had similar technology back in the 70's but it was never pursued much because people preferred driving BIG GAS HOGS. 1975 Honda Civic had a similar type of technology - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CVCC. I owned one of these cars. It was small, an automatic without the D (drive), just speeds 1 and 2. Wish I still had the car today.

    I can imagine that people who spend time drinking 3-4 cups of coffee a day, probably don't get outside much. If you're indoors most of the time, drinking coffee, than chances of you dieing from an accident, or getting shot is probably low. I mean, there could be many other factors involved that could explain why coffee drinkers live longer, not just because they drink coffee.

    It's going to equal more fragmented support. You buy the latest and greatest just to find that your hardware/software don't support it. Developers and Manufactures are already having a difficult time supporting so many different platforms.

    Fast CPU and Ram is great but we are still limited to slow crappy Hard Drives (SSD's too expensive) and OS's / Software that don't take advantage of current technology, let alone next generation.

    I had an old HTC Touch Pro 2 that I wasn't using anymore, but it had a good camera on it. So I installed a webcam software that allowed me to broadcast over the web or to an iPad/Android tablet.     Cisco maybe expensive but they are reliable. We changed our switches and routers with Cisco and have had zero problems since. You get what you pay for.
