The AD must be visible, I'm sure that includes a distinct Text Color against the background. Even though it's reduced to 1 month, the news will spread all over which will have a much bigger impact.
when you know you haven't got a chance in hell in getting elected. Special interests and corporations don't pay for Truths, they only pay for their Agendas.
We have little to lose if we go to war with Iran. Even if they set of a nuke in that region of the world, I doubt it would affect the markets that much. Now going to war with North Korea on the other hand would be devastating. All the chip manufactures in South Korea and Japan could get wiped out with a war in that region, sending stock markets plunging down a cliff.
Most of us with degrees and skills usually put in more than 40 hours a week in our work. We do it because we enjoy the work, the pay is good, and our employers give us time off when we want it. Besides, it doesn't mean your stuck behind a desk for 10-12 hours a day. Many of us take our work on the go, or do some of it from home.
Because these tablets are not x86 processors, there is ZERO chance to run any Windows Software on these things. Which means, it only runs Metro Apps, and exactly how does Microsoft's Metro Apps compete with iOS and Android? As well as HP's WebOS, and we all know how that turned out. I see another Fire-Sale around the corner.
Defective Hard Drives usually fail within the first few months. When we purchase new Disk Storage units, it's almost a guarantee 1 or 2 drives will fail in the first 6 months.
I'm sure the network side of things would be secure, but I'd be worried about invisible radio wave attacks that could come from anywhere. A satellite, or parked van could essentially kill the whole network if they focused enough wattage at the data center. Not to mention other interferences like solar-flares.
The $3000 car in India will translate to $13000 here in the US. There is not a chance this car will sell for that cheap in the U.S., not even a cheap 4 wheeler cost that little.
I hear what you say, and I somewhat agree. Society should base their rules and laws on the natural order of things, otherwise if Mother Nature was wrong, we wouldn't be here. But I do think as a mature Society, we can have compassion and tolerance towards others, so long as they don't harm others or nature (with few exceptions like walking around nude).
Yea, like this story for example - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-19944078 , Pakistani teen girl shot in head because she spoke out, and we are supposed to curtail our free speech for these Bigots!
I'll tell you what I take great offense to, how they treat women. Treating them like slaves, and cutting up their virgina is what I consider Intolerable!
The problem is - these religious nuts are closed minded individuals that believe their way is the only right one. They put all their beliefs in a single text book that says anyone who thinks different is evil. These people don't think for themselves, they use no logic. Instead they have become too lazy and complacent to question what they believe.
Pentium 3 systems didn't have 1Gb of DDR3 system memory, or high end 3D GPU's. Plus Windows is a bloated operating system, so comparing a 10 year old system to a smartphone today, the smartphone will whip through the Internet far faster then that old Pentium 3.
Actually, there are more ways to indicate life elsewhere. If we can recreate the building blocks of life in a lab, or find evidence of other planets with the right conditions for life, then its likely life should exist in many places. But if we do find life in our solar system (besides earth), that will surely silence the nay-sayers.
Not this time. We now have 8 Billion People, something this planet has never seen. Global Warming, again, something this planet has not seen in a long time. The Earth can only sustain us at our current rate for so long, before mass extinction takes place.
Why is it illegal to walk around Nude?
unfortunately you can't trust anyone to use it.

Now that Apple has been slapped down for lying, it might put an end to all the BS with these patent infringements.

Just require that you wear a helmet when driving this car.
If you making $17k a year, you should be looking for a Bike, not a Car.

Need I say more?
You can't help a society that lacks common sense and logic.

It's okay for these people to burn our Flag, and pictures of our president, and chant Death to America.

The way things are looking, it will probably be Dystopia instead of Utopia, 15 years from now.
