    Thats the thing with Wikipedia, no matter what you do, some Wikipedians are going to disagree with it.

    Where do they get these numbers? This is over 10% of the GDP of the USA, and 333 times the amount gross retail music sales in 2005. I wonder if the US court will take this companies .com domains.

    Why does Nasa refer to this as "revised flight software" these rovers don't fly. Also this should help the rovers move more autonomously and hopefully a little faster. Spirit is averaging 1 MPY (Mile per Year)

    Producing meat is destructive. But not just because of the killing of animals - which, while being an issue isn't the biggest issue. It is destructive because it takes up a lot of resources.
    Are you saying its possible to determine whether raising cows or other meat sources takes up more resources than growing plants? I suppose you could go by cost, but there are other things to consider, such as necessary nutrients and kcals per dollar. We are omnivores after all, and from what I understand, at least some meat is part of a healthy diet.

    Its getting harder and harder to innovate in consumer electronics, and to have your product noticed. I have trouble thinking of Apple coming up with something as ubiquitous as the ipod in the near future.

    Im not saying its not worth the cost. Far from it, I think it was worth every penny just for the fact these pictures motivate and make people think, so we might actually have American scientists in 20 years. And dont forget about all the things we learned about our universe from the Hubble. Just thought it might be cool to express those billions per picture.
