Yet, it seems U.S. courts can convict criminals of violating Australian copyright law on Australian soil. Your argument falls down where you say "You can not break a laws of one country and seek shelter overseas." He broke Australian law on Australian soil, at no time setting foot in the US, any US laws broken should have been inconsequential, irrelevant and dismissed immediately.

Booze is the #1 chemical alteration people use to enjoy life. Would you ban that? If you need help to enjoy life on a day to day basis, the solution inevitably will be drugs. Synthetic pharmaceutical drugs with hazardous and potentially life threatening consequences. Some prefer natural and safer alternatives, regardless of their legal status. Our society should treat us as intelligent adults capable of making our own choices, not naughty children who don't know what's good for them. This is especially true for pot flavoured candy, something which only dentists should object to.

There were tiny hints as to what this RPG will be like..

Mark Nelson, my colleague at Bethsoft, and lead designer of Oblivion's Shivering Isles expansion, has joined the Big Huge team, and I'll be looking to him to do all the Real Work while I Mentor him and deliver Sage Pronouncements.

So he won't actually be doing any Real Work on this title anyway, it'll be the guy who did the Oblivion expansion. Yet we do find out it will be a Tolkienesque world.. well I can only think of a handful of RPG's NOT in a Tolkienesque world. This is almost as vague as an MS product announcement. In fact I can't think of any point to this interview at all, if they don't want to say anything of substance.

This backs up my belief that this is a valid and useful resource for the faculty, students and especially the parents. In fact such a resource would be invaluable for policy makers, though I doubt they would bother trying to implement this themselves. Teaching is a challenging and stressful occupation, and such ratings could easily demoralise and discourage genuinely decent teachers, yet this is in no way a valid reason to prohibit such a potentially beneficial resource.

Either way, we get what we pay for. Teachers and nurses need a decent wage here in Australia, the current setup is a joke.

You know what happened next?

Indeed, such a project could show us why GP is right, that there is no place like home, and that we are already on that slow boat. The colony ship would need 100% reclamation of all materials, with no toxic byproducts. This already rules out nearly all of our modern farming, manufacturing and other techniques. Our problem is how to decontaminate and sustain an already toxic colony ship, a much more difficult task, but one that needs the first steps to be taken. Colony ships seem to be the most likely first step.

So if you value the Earth and want to see it become a sustainable habitat, I cannot think of a better project to encourage than interstellar colonization.

On the contrary, I believe humanity is one of the guaranteed losers in a war. I believe being bad, essentially evil is necessary in times of war. Basic stuff like respect for life and human dignity go out the door. A world that could avoid such traps would be overflowing in humanity and goodwill. War is Hell on Earth, it's absence would not leave the world empty of fulfilling and challenging pursuits and could only be a wonderful thing.

Of course, it'll never happen until everyone is cool with each other. I'd say 200 generations is a good guess as to the time that might take.

Also, if wikipedia does the blocking, you will be blocking teachers whose profession makes them excellent candidates for editors. Also, perhaps having kids with relatively little malicious intent vandalise the site helps make it more secure against malevolent vandals with agendas.
