  7. Wont Work in the US on Japanese Airline Rolls Out Wireless Chip Check-In · · Score: 1

This won't work in the USA because we are too freaked out(the soda isn't soda it is a bomb). When I can't even bring a single 4oz bottle on a plane you know you have a problem and even with the 3-1-1 thing(3oz bottles, 1 quart size bag, 1 bag per person) anyone determined enough could bring a liquid based bomb on a plane. Because of that reason the security measures in America will be doomed to only increase until travel almost stop entirely or we force reform and more efficient ways of security. When we do this, and only when we do this, can we try to catch up to the rest of the world. Plus another limiting factor is that we just don't have and decent cell phones in America. At that point we will probably just make our own version that is incompatible with the rest of the world's version and just further complicate travel.

Most college kids I see at coffee shops have a Mac notebook...

    I confim this theory.

I am currently typing from my University dorm room(at a technical school) and a know a lot of the people in the Computer and Information Sciences college have macs. Although a lot of people, including myself, are still using windows computers(mainly Dells because of the discount).

The conclusion... Macs are making a comeback but they still have a way to go. Such as a smaller price tag so I can afford the computer. Even with the school's discount I would have to pay $3000 for a Mac laptop with weaker parts than my $1500 laptop.

Plus Macs sucks with gaming where my Intel Core2 Duo laptop with powerful GeForce 8600M GS does not.
I admit the GeForce isn't the strongest out there but for the price it kicks ass.

Another reason that BitTorrent could not be illegal is that World of Warcraft use the BitTorrent protocol to download updates, the only thing that IS illegal is using BitTorrent to download files.

Here is the text from the Blizzard Website
    From the UK site:

Blizzard Entertainment is currently testing a Blizzard Downloader that is based upon BitTorrent, an open source technology which is freely distributable pursuant to the MIT License. From the US Site:

The Blizzard Downloader allows users to download large files using a peer-to-peer protocol.

Verizon was installing the Fiber Optic line into my house and in the process they dented the gutter. The Verizon employee said that he was sorry and to just contact his boss at a phone number he supplied us. It has been 4 months with repeated phone calls and still no check. Although this is not as serious as a fire but they refuse to pay the $250 or so in damages so now we have to take them to small claims court over the problem. so it would seem that my case is not the only case where they screwed up and tried to deny the fact.
