Most of the costs of the US healthcare system is the administrative overhead in insurance companies, that is, to check whether so-and-so is insured for that kind of medical procedure he needs, as well as the profits the private companies have to do.
All those things do not exist where there is ONLY a state monopoly on health care: everyone is covered the same way, so you only have ONE coverage to "check" for, since the State pays through taxes, no need to check if someone paid his premiums, and furthermore, no public money is WASTED on private companies' profits.
The Canadian health-care system costs the SAME per-capita as the US one, yet 100% of the population has health insurance, as opposed to only 40% in the US.

Over the years, we have endeavoured hard to establish a system of movie studios that spew forth endless amount of low-cost propaganda that, when fed to the gullible masses of unamerican people abroad, makes them establish a preference for the american way of life, enabling us to slowly subvert those other countries so they will toe our line of global domination.
If the accessory revenue stream generated by such a subverting entreprise would be curtailed, like by means where private studio intellectual could be pirated or just even fairly used, the cost of such subversion would have to be borne by the American taxpayer, and as a firm believer in the non-existence of ths State to protect the right of the rich to profit, pillage and plunder, I cannot have this happenning.

This isn't a huge problem for spammers. If they send you an HTML email, then just opening the email (or previewing it in Outlook) can provide the verification that they need.
