How does that effect you? It's your neighbor's property; they should be able to erect a 30ft statue of Buddha if they want to. We (used to) have many rights in the USA, but the right not to be offended isn't one of them.
The difference is that the right of the people to keep and bear cars isn't mentioned anywhere in the Constitution. As Scalia wrote in the Heller decision, "...enshrinement of constitutional rights necessarily takes certain policy choices off the table."
For what it's worth, I personally think cars have become over-regulated, as well.
I have no problems with the technology itself. I have a problem with the potential for misuse (especially by law enforcement, DHS, DOJ, etc.). These drones are much less expensive to own and operate than a manned aircraft, making it easier for the aforementioned organizations to subject citizens to 24/7/365 surveillance.
Every tire sold in the United States has a maximum inflation pressure printed on the sidewall. Keep under this number, and you should be fine.
However, please note that over-inflating your tires will reduce their life, perhaps drastically, and as a result, it might not be worth the increase in fuel efficiency.
I'm a PA driver. The way this works, at least during my morning and evening commutes, is that both lanes will be completely clogged with bumper-to-bumper, stop-and-go traffic, and therefore the law becomes irrelevant.
This is not true. Brake fade is caused by the hydraulic fluid boiling, thereby turning an incompressible fluid into a compressible one, thereby greatly reducing the amount of force applied to the pads. It is also important to keep in mind that, as has been previously stated but largely ignored, most modern-day brakes are vacuum-assisted. At wide open throttle, there is no appreciable vacuum in the intake manifold, so the brakes will only work for one or two pumps (there is a vacuum reservoir that maintains a limited amount of vacuum in the event that the engine is shut off and the brakes need to be applied).
I do the exact same thing in Philadelphia where 95 becomes 476. It's a 4-into-2 merge, and I used to merge early, but nowadays, I just sail on past. My thinking / justification was exactly the same as yours. I believe there have been studies done that show that in the absence of total law-abidance (which is impossible, pragmatically speaking), the most efficient traffic patterns are ones where the individual actors follow the rules most of the time, but break them when they think they will gain an advantage.
I am another Vista user who hasn't experienced any issues at all. From the moment I installed it, it "just worked". I just finished installing SP1, and it still "just works". I've never understood what all the hate was/is about.
I'm not usually one to pick nits, but I sincerely doubt "most people" can jump two feet off the Earth's surface. At least not where I'm from (can anyone take a guess...)
If the contractions were spelled out, this would read:
"Yeah, it is one of my pet peeves as well. Do you notice how prevalent it is gotten?"
That doesn't sound right........
The Declaration of Independence is not law and therefore has no relevance here. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land.

Incorrect. Attack the argument, not the speaker. An argument stands on its own merits regardless of any bias, credentials, etc. the speaker may have.
Does it run Linux?

Posting to undo errant moderation.
The solution is to prevent them from being used in the first place, preferably through legal means before they become widespread.
Many modern routers can be configured to broadcast a "guest connection" with its own SSID that you can then throttle as you see fit.
Actually, the Bose system used linear actuators, not hydraulics. It never entered production because the electrical power requirements were too high.

world's other superpowers
Who are they, exactly?
Well, Intel wouldn't be offering it for sale if it didn't think anyone would buy it. It seems like a valid point to me.

Based on what I've heard from people who actually had the swine flu, I'd rather have the disease than the vaccine.
Has the "upgraded" Hubble taken any images of objects it previously imaged with its old sensors? I would be interested in a comparison.
It's still accessible as of 12:58 EST

Don't the reasons you are using to defend Apple also apply to Vista?

While I agree with the point you are making, Iranians don't speak Arabic. They speak Persian.
