You do realize that wireless does alot more then get pictures to grandma's computer, right? Its nice to have a wireless LAN technology that can at least keep up with 10/100 Ethernet.
Fuck you and your use of the absolute 'no breach'. A large part of security is loss mitigation, and as such even if there are breaches they are anticipated and contained. There is no such thing as an impenetrable skin, its how you handle the pricks that really count.
When the PS3 launched it was as close to the perfect media player as you could get AT THE TIME including ease of use, substantial feature list and robustness of hardware. Lets keep some perspective here. Sure it didnt do everything, but it did more then anything that came before it in a consumerized package.
You do realize that liquid rock has the exact same mass as solid, right? They aren't saying that this bodies never had cores but rather that the solid core was eroded.
Eating food induces feelings, not sleeping induces feelings, absorbing the suns rays induces feelings. There are many ways to alter state, this is not a wrong or bad thing. Trying to ESCAPE from bad feelings using a substance is the unhealthy part of the activity, be it food, chemicals, drink etc. You might want to be careful up on that high horse of yours....
As a car driver i would say, dont be in my blind spot, period. You may be the one that is right, but ill be the one that lives. How is it that we force people who drive in steel cages and engineered crumple zones to wear seatbelts but we allow people to operate motorcycles?

"Savage received an HONORARY doctorate from the University of Twente (Enschede, Netherlands) for his role in the popularization of science and technology;"
Cable CARD may be unloved, but its not dead. We'll be seeing Cable CARDs for at least the next decade, or we'll be forced to watch TiVo squealing in its death throes. Tivo has bet the farm on Cable CARD, i doubt the FCC is going to leave them hanging.
I dont want to get in a big Trek Debate, but no other elevator in Star Trek has EVER moved that fast. Generally in the past the length of time in the elevator and the sounds involved were keyed to origin and destination points in the ship. I am fully aware of inertial dampers and Heisenberg compensators on the show.
ALL the stoners i know are professionals. Doctors, lawyers, engineers, PHARMACISTS, executives, salesmen. A loser is gonna be a loser, whether they smoke pot or not.
Becasue hes a human being and you are too. If we cant make a little room for kids in people's careers, who the hell wants to be in business. Business cannot totally ignore the human aspects of existence for a few pennies more on the bottom line. Is that the world you want to live in?
Lighten up, Francis

If they cant afford a robust and secure customer information database then they have no business taking people's credit cards.
Speculation, hyperbole and FUD. There is NOTHING inherently suspicious about a rapid email destruction scheme.
Any employee using company property and resources to goof off online should be fired. See it goes both ways :)
WAHHHH I choose to have more kids then I should so I have to work more then 40 hours.
'I want everything'
'would that include a bullet from this gun?'
"While being fit is important for space vocations, I suspect most of the fitness requirements center around looking sexy for TV."
For a supposedly smart person you are extremely ignorant of the physical rigors of high velocity travel.

I am well aware of what it means in theory, in practice it means squat.

The person was responding to the absolute statement that "people dont get arrested for accidents" when in fact they can and do all the time.

Which is great if you want to throw some text commands at it, but other then that remoting into a desktop via a touch interface sucks balls.
If by built in you mean added-on then yeah. The keyboard the author mentions is as integrated into his tablet as yours is.
About the Spock elevator thing, that was ridiculous. No turbolift has ever been depicted operating that fast. It was a completely stupid shot.
I see Bentleys almost every day in Newport Beach. While not exactly alike they are VERY similar and could easily be confused by non-car people.
