Satellite internet connection providing streaming video to off-site storage. Oh, and it's in a shaded booth, to keep off the direct sun and a lot of the heat. I like solar for the power, but I could see someone putting a diesel generator there instead. We could probably use wind power too, if it's really fierce enough to move boulders.

It was more difficult for me to figure out why Qui-Gon was taking so damn long with the door at the beginning of Ep. 1, I finally decided he was trying to keep it from hardening behind the blade.

By average family, do you mean four people? If so, I completely agree that a turkey is too large. Of course, we're looking at 15 people for Thanksgiving in this house, and Christmas is going to be even more people. We also have a wide variety of turkey-based leftover recipes.

As far as poor meat goes, I can only imagine that either turkeys over there are different from turkeys here, or that whoever prepares your turkey doesn't know what they're doing.

Thus, Canada has 9,093,507 sq km of land mass.

    United States [wikipedia.org]

9 093 506 sq km (Canada's land mass) is less than 9,162,350 sq km (the US land mass), therefore your statement seems incorrect. Canada does have more total area, but more of that area is water. This comes from debrain correcting me on this same issue about a week ago.
