FYI - I have a fantastic gaming rig that dual boots into Win7 and Ubuntu. I am installing some of the games now and looking forward to comparing the performance.

Which means the police will also have the necessary location data.
With simple numbers they would probably only see a lot of stolen phones calling other stolen phones. With location data they can profile geographic locations where both stolen phones are being used. Then a focused effort in that area can be made to determine who is using the stolen phones.
To police the bigger fish here are the people using the stolen phones to facilitate "more important" criminal activity.

This is right. Semi-Pro Racer here. The last thing I want is my vehicle second guessing my input in white knuckle manuevers. However, I would enjoy kicking back and playing with my kid while during the commute.
Some of the problem and fault lies with how people use the internet and to a lesser degree other media. Basically, on the internet you can find reinforcement for any wack-bag psychotic opinion you may have. Research the polar opposite opinion from yours own on any subject. Enjoy the knowledge. Maybe you will move your opinion towards the center or maybe you will have better understood how to defuse the opposition.
If you only interact with aggrogant nerds then an arrogant nerd you will be. Even if you are the least arrogant nerd of the group, it still is a problem. As others have mentioned humility in general usually only comes after a major explosive and destuctive realization that upsets your status quo.

I work everyday to ensure that my kid is neither bully or bullied. It's a tough balance. Give them the tools and instruction, the kids will use them.
