Um some dv2xxx laptops use Intel chips, some use AMD chips, also some use Nvidia gfx while some use AMD/Ati gfx. so not all of them are the same mobo. With that said though you are partially correct in looking for the BIOS update in another model page... as long as the model has an Nvidia Card.
No offense but you do realize that MS Office is available for Mac, so there should be no issue unless you needed something like access which already has alternatives like filemaker.
As far as installing windows you would probably be able to do it with the boot camp utility through remote disc or using the optical drive add on.
It'll be like that one time when they referenced a potential Quagmire spinoff!

There actually is a secondary click on the macbooks. you just have to hold two fingers on the touchpad when you click. On their wireless or wired mouse you actually can right click even though it appears to only be one button.
Just be sure not to let Biff Tannen Know of this. He might steal the Time Machine and give that info to his younger self in the year 1955 so when google opens up its vido store he can spend his first million and double it up in checkout credit and refund...... Oh wait.
I completely agree with your post, but you have left one factor out. The cheapest Macbook is 1099 and for most people thats just too much. I work in Sales at Worst Buy and we just recently set up an Apple Display. the three main objections to the macs are Price, Different OS, and compatibility. We often times sell windows laptops with 2gb ram and dual core cpus for around 900 or sometimes less. People dont tend to understand why the Macs "cost more" if they have "less power". They just dont understand the fact that the Macs have better cpus and dont require as much ram. They also think they can get by with 399 POS laptops with vista and 512 ram which is bs.
As far as it being a different OS, they just dont understand that its just as easy to use as windows if not easier in some regard and more secure.
I work for best buy (decent college job and I know more than most employees I work with) and you are correct on everything except getting the full price towards a new laptop. they actually just give you the most comparable model not to exceed the purchase price. So say I bought a a laptop with a P4 cpu and 3 years later just before the end of the service plan I get approved for a junkout exchange. since P4s are no longer in laptops they just give me a core2 duo with more ram than the previous one. also you keep in mind things like screen size and other obscure features. On a side note you can just ask for the amount in the form of a gift card and use that towards your laptop, but no one really knows that.
1. Although not necessarily a sci-fi flick, hackers had some really neat 3d hacking...
2. Back to the Future had some interesting hci when a 3d Jaws almost bit Martys head off or when Lorraine mcfly hydrated a pizza.
3. ????
4. Profit.
Oh wait....
I agree, I mean he already has access to this technology with his cell phone and his 24 hour full stomach.

At least They got rid of Brown. I guess Bill gates got tired of using the bathroom everytime they wanted to try to sell one.
Just be sure not to take a copy of the sports almanac with you, wouldnt want Biff getting his hands on it.

But I thought that even 640k ought to be enough for everybody?
But I thought posting on Slashdot negated the need for condoms? I mean the consensus around here is that we dont get laid.

You got it all wrong. It should be like this:
C:\> Removal of BSOD requires the following dependencies to be uninstalled:
> Windows Operating System
> Explorer.exe
1. Cancel
2. Allow
THIS IS SPARTA!!!
Great Scott!!
