Wikipedia shows 60% but that is for large, industrial turbines. Microturbines seem to be 25%-35%.

Turbines are more expensive(due to higher precision) and have a similar efficiency to reciprocating engines and lower efficiency if at idle.

It is easy to come up with the minimum number. Sometimes what people consider pushing a computer are very different. The other day, I was ripping 2 DVDs and encoding a disk image for my phone. That was definitely pushing my old computer. Even if you measure it with web browsing you run into issues. Do you let it run all the ads or do you block them like many will?

I watch many shows on Fox 4 DFW and they suck at volume. The network shows seem to be about half the volume of the local broadcasts. When the evening news comes on, I either hit 1/2 mute or turn the volume down by half so the news is close to the same volume the previous shows and commercials were at. To make things worse, the commercials for the newscast are the same way. You never know when the TV is about to blow you away with a local newscast commercial.
