For God's sake man, why do you think that they had to send more than one Apollo mission? It was to balance things out. That jack-ass Aldrin started jumping up and down in his heavy space suit for the cameras. Before they had time to radio him to stop, much of the damage had already been done.
That other guy who dropped a hammer onto the surface had to drop a feather at the same time for the same reason.
You obviously don't know much about the science behind how they invented the moon. Because there isn't gravity on the moon, any small knock, no matter how small, could send it flying off into outer space. This ACTUALLY HAPPENED in a TV series called Space 1999.
Look up gravity on the internet, if you don't believe me. I don't like the idea of loosing the moon just for sake of an experiment.
Surely, Carmack's got to be interested in this? If he does take to it, I suppose the next gen of hardware renderers would have to be optimised for it. You're right, if it's as good as the demo video makes out, it could be the next big thing.
This flat earth nonsense is easy to disprove. Just get an illustrated bible and look at Genesis. The Earth is clearly round in many modern editions that I have seen. They'd probably get around it by claiming that those versions of the bible were reinterpreted by human beings and different from other versions of the bible. Yeah right, that logic would prove that every existing bible is false. But that's just how whacky a flat-earther can be.
Steve's newest invention: the iWhip. He's going to make whipping people cool again. Cut to a pic of a man in a black Polo neck shouting, "Faster, faster! I want more shiny things! No one goes home before I get my shiny things!!!".
Agree with this. I don't know anything about nutrition or exercise but I do know what helped me. A lot of people fail to take into account the behavioural aspect of exercise routine. People like me find it difficult to stick with an exercise routine, so the trick is to work the exercise into your existing routine.
Doing some situps before bed/shower and commuting by bicycle and for leisure is something that I have been able to stick at for a couple of years in a row, longer than I have ever been able to stick to a "proper" exercise routine.
Bah! The moon-dwellers won't be as easy to convince of the supposed economic benefits as the powers that be are in the UK. You've read The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress, right?
Take into account the over enthusiastic claims of a water finds that NASA has made in the past. I am of the opinion that if they had photo that in any way looked like might be proof of extra terrestrial life they would display it far and wide. Same goes for any anomaly that would increase people's interest in space.
A lot of people, like me, hold views that are at odds with the feminist orthodoxy on matters such as the workplace, education and affirmative action. People like you label it as hateful misogyny for two reasons. Firstly, to make the issue emotive rather than theoretical. Secondly, to re-enforce the taboo that exists around questioning the pillars of feminist theory in the social sciences.
58% to 42% in the UK in higher education (2005-2006). I wish there had been someone like you around in 1984 when the situation was the exact reverse of the current one. "Hey, it's no big deal and it doesn't make any difference!". Would have come in real handy.
A interesting aspect to this phenomena is that the boys seem to be greatly affected by social background but girls less so. The boys' academic results (at school age) could be presented on a "smile" graph. So in other words, boys are over represented at the very top and at the very bottom.
Girls average better overall (in the UK). Naturally, there is nothing unfair about it when girls do better than boys.
I'm afraid I don't have my source reference for these facts to hand at the moment.
Yeah, real equal. Women average better than men in most school subjects and more women than men go to university. There are loads of female dominated jobs and academic subjects, yet no affirmative action for us. When women want to work a 25 hr week in a career that's "rewarding", the feminists complain that women average lower salaries.
That's feminism: When men are doing better at something "Men and women are equals, the men must have had an unfair advantage!". When women are doing better, "Men and women have different brains and are good at different things!"
When will the geek community use their intelligence and realise when that they're being shafted?
They had an auction site several years ago. It was pretty good, and I used to use it before Ebay gobbled everyone else up. If memory serves, they sold it to Ebay, who shut it down. They must have had some sort of agreement along the lines of "we agree not to open an auction site for five years".
So, the one that just shut down wasn't the first Yahoo auction site.
The current reporting on the supposed end to Moore's Law reminds me of the time that I read an explanation of why 640mb would be absolute limit of HD capacity.
I don't think he'd make a very good horror zombie as he has a light bulb in his forehead. How's he going to sneak up on the teenaged couple at the beginning of the film?
Note that he was a Linux user and a murder, and that he couldn't have had access to the latest video games. I suggest that Tux Racer encourages people to murder.

"That's ADD for you, we got him some old computer parts to play around with but before long he was jumping up and down and screaming again!"

George could make it so the lady cop calls him sugar tits first.

He wore a bullwhip on his belt. Which was the style at the time.

Hey! I'm 32!

I demand you cease your terrorism, sir!
It's predominantly male.
Obviously, you think that men are the only people who would be interested in fairness in this issue? Sounds like you've got a lot to learn.

In fact, forget the mutilation, flashy thing and the profit!
A big fuss about nothing anyway. Apparently, Hawking's colleague just wanted Steven to help him move.
