Seriously, though, I think that you would find more home users using Vista then business users. Many businesses have the option to downgrade to XP, while for the most part the home user does not. I think it would be interesting to see the average daily use of a Vista computer vs an XP computer. I would suspect that on average, the XP computer gets used more.

Transferring music phone to phone has been pretty easy for a few years.

You, my friend, must not have Telus as your carrier. I have a Telus phone and those crooks disabled the file transfer bluetooth profile. Why, you may ask? Well, because that way you have to pay them $3-$6 to download the song/ringtone from thier store. Now, don't think that you will just download it elsewhere, or email it to your phone, as downloads are disabled (except from Telus of course) and all email attachements get stripped before arriving at your phone.

The current artificial restrictions that have been put on my phone have caused Telus to become my #1 enemy, I end up calling them about once a month to bitch about this or that. I likely cost them more in customer support then they make off me.

There is a big difference between a controlled burn in your engine and a flaming oil well. The oil well is burning with low oxygen conditions, so there would be an excess of CO produced during the combustion. CO breaks down into methane and then eventually CO2, so eventually, sure it realeases the same amount of CO2, but it also creates Methane, which is more greenhousy, than CO2.

That is what the airlines would like. Services like expedia.ca make it easy to search many airlines from one form. This means that customers can more easily find the best sale and the airlines have to compete harder to offer cheaper tickets. Not a bad thing for a customer, but from the company perspective, these sites are forcing their prices/profits down.

I don't know how they plan on winnning that battle by turning away paying customers (Maybe they have enough time to fill the seats with normal customers). Anyway, no one had played devil's advocate yet, so here it is.

It works two ways. Firstly it causes a break in the flow of oil, and secondly it uses much of the available oxygen. There are other ways to but out a well fire:

Dousing with copious amounts of water
Raising the plume- Inserting one metal casing 30 to 40 feet high over the well head (thus raising the flame above the ground). Liquid nitrogen or water is then forced in at the bottom to reduce the oxygen supply and put out the fire.
Drill relief wells to redirect the oil and make the fire smaller (and easier to extinguish with water).
Using a jet engine to direct high pressure water and air over the well.
Using dynamite to 'blow out' the fire by blasting fuel and oxygen from the flame and consuming oxygen in the combustion. This was one of the earliest effective methods and is still widely used. The first use was by Myron Kinley's father in California in 1913
Dry Chemical (mainly Purple K) can be used on small well fires such as those in refineries.

The above was stolen from wikipedia (duh!) and there is actually a page for oil well fires:
