    Nah... There is lots of oil locked up in oil sands and shale oil to carry on for another hundred years. If costs really start going up, we'll see more nuke plants coming online. Add this to an increase in renewable energies, and energy prices will be pretty stable for the forseeable future.

    No, that was all you could do. The 'hack' worked by modifying the firmware on the DVD drive to always think it was looking at a pressed (original) dvd. The pirate could then download signed applications and burn them to a disk, which would run. With the above hack, all programs still had to be signed, so it was only good for pirating games.

    I'm sorry AC, but you are wrong. Modern engines do cut fuel to the engine. It's right there in the owners manual, and I can see it on the instant fuel economy gauge. On my car, the trigger is RPM > 1600 && ThrottleFullyClosed.

    there are many vending machines that only accept coins, so you have to carry $5-$10 in change to be safe.

    You are 100% correct in that the xbox doesn't have the same amount of power as a dual core processor. It has three cores, each of which can run 2 threads at a time.
