Some of the new motorola phones seem to have to do some negotiation to charge them. They seem to charge them enough to power up the computer and then negotiate whether to charge or not. Drivers can be downloaded from motorola to charge on windows, but my computer runs linux.
My problem is getting the motorola java api to install with eclipse/linux.
The only reason I still have 3.5 inch floppies is nostalgic. I like the stack on my desk it takes up real estate and forces me to put CD,DVD,Memory stick etc. away after use.;-)
The other great thing about linux is configurability!

I'll have Beryl again when I can recompile kernel & upgrade NVIDIA Drivers then I'll be happy:-)

Any one know of a full linux distro still on floppies? I need one to install on an 486 laptop. :-)

My router runs linux 2.4 and is set up to do NAT on ethernet but again it dosen't support linux.

It probably runs gentoo so they use up that bandwidth and cpu power upgrading all the time.
