    I'm sure he would prefer it was seen by people that BUY music, instead of just playing the free video, or ripping the audio track to mp3, like everyone on YouTube or /. would do.

    So yes, YouTube screwed Wield Al.

    At least around here, there are 1m wide bike lanes many places, but the bikers ride on the CAR side of the line anyway.

    They do this becasue the cell phone users are usually driving in the bike lane :(

    I'm so glad California finally banned cell phones without hands-free. Paves the way for banning them entirely.

    Around here (Stanford), Facebook is only used at all by the undergrad girls because they know it's only college students, and thus they don't feel total vulnerable posting private info. The guys only use it to stalk them. And both are just clueless kids really, but smart enough to avoid MySpace at least.

    Or at least that's the impression I get, I'm too old to "get" why posting private info is ever good, and the campus directory works fine for me, and IS private.

    So I'd say Facebook is now R.I.P. Women will leave FAST if they have any brains at all with both employeers and every sex offender in the area now on the prowl.

    Sadly, this isn't true. It does do things to your cells, bad things, especially your brain and nervous system which is one big electrical grid. It's just not known how bad, and noone is willing to give up cellphones and wireless even if it is pretty bad. Much of it is the same as being in a microwave, but one set very low.

    Noone stops smokers, I imagine in 20 years this will be the same kind of thing.

    Iran will win this one becasue they have the oil, so easily it's not even worth having the contest.

    The Iranians and Osama could both just crush Bush in any contest physical or mental, not that Bush could ever find either of them. Iran (any OPEC country) or China (who has all our money) can completely and totally destoy our economy at any time.

    It's really quite depressing to be an American these days, and I can hear Hezbola (a branch of the Iranian government) laughing from here, which doesn't help.

    I for one am staying away for Israel, becuase they are already nuked, they just don't know it yet.

    Linux and Windows ran on old peoples computers, back before cell phones. They used to use them spam each other porn and stock scams instead of just IM'ing their friends, taking pictures, pirating music, and downloading homework outsourced to China. Your parents may still have one LOL. ... wake up... the "iPod" generation doesn't give a damn about desktops, they just want it to work with ZERO fuss, and connect to all their devices which they DO care about. That means a bunch of dedicated devices, and probably a Mac laptop. New cellphones have more then enough power to do everything you need.
