fight piracy by making the game imposable to play! i cant wait for the cracked version myself. since i dont have a broadband connection, i cant play a single player game on my computer. i learned my lesson with fallout new vegas. after i bought that, and let steam grind for almost a week and was no closer to being able to play, i went lookin for a pirated version. now i can play! it only has to be illegal.
about the patch...i never found a patch for the ligit game, i had to download the completely steam free version. took 3 trips to mc d's to get it all done. i still havent seen a patch. i would love to find some sorta anti steam patch. i want to hear about lulsec or whatever hacking group take down steam, like they did sonys ps3 network. then maybe the companies would start being nice again. piracy is going to happen. if all the studies that have been done about it were released, it would paint a totally different picture. its almost like the govt and the big companies want you to believe they are charging you huge amounts of money because thats hte only way they can make any. but the truth is that piracy accounts for a very small percentage of things. like fake levi's, their out there, but dont hurt the company that much.

them tricky terrorist found a way to get money out of gamestop. so, i cant sell a game i have in order to stop a suicide bomber. that means that gamestop supports suicide bombers. and suicide bombers need used games.

what i would like would to have the movies give credit to the one they are remaking. that clint eastwood movie, for a few dollars, and the counterpart, for a few dollars more. then comes along the industry and makes last man standing. not 1 lil mention of those 2, or the japanese play they all derived from. it was put out there as if it were original. just 1 example of what i mean.
the Jews that own this industry say that their people invented comedy. i will not argue with that, i just want them to prove it :) show me something funny and new. or...something interesting, not the same story with diff faces. i have probably seen 15 movies this week. there was only 1 that i could not clearly see one before that.. that was the imax film about hubble. i wouldn't recommend that. not enough space picture stuff. too much about the guys floating around and talking about toilets and stuck bolts. the only way to get them to produce anything without a algorithm would be have everyone in the nation stop going to see the movies, renting movies, or even subscribing to hbo. for a long while. i think it would take 3 of the big 4 to collapse before any of them understand.
origonality is not the right thing for them. same with the music industry. alot of books are just repeats of the same thing. and games? there was donkey kong, and now everythings a copy of it. street fighter, now everythings a copy of that. w
being on dialup, i cant even connect to steam, much less play any game that uses it. i was an idiot and paid for fallout NV and that new duke nukem. after months of trying to get connected to steam and update, i gave up, and had a friend download the torrents for me. the only thing that worked was the pirated versions of the game. wish them hackers did a better job, valve still operates.....
